Edison International is a public utility holding company based in Rosemead, California. Its subsidiaries include Southern California Edison, and unregulated non-utility business assets Edison Energy. Edison's roots trace back to Holt & Knupps, a company founded in 1886 as a provider of street lights in Visalia, California.


One angry former employee shared this in a review "The managers of Ediosn International think they are Gods, not caring workmates. and then they won't even hesitate to get you fired with no warnings or consultation or anything regardless of being having a family and kids and house payment. go work for this place and end up out in the street, the money is ok but what good is going to do if they let you go."

"Now: Discrimination tolerated. Inconsistent treatment of disabled employees company wide and even from one disabled employee to next.. "Immediate supervisor is ultimate decision maker" when it comes to a disabled employee. If you file a complaint outside the Company, prepare to be fired."

"60% perm. employees are lazy, they hire contractors and abuse them, use them like a dust, Management, HR, Ethic dept. all share info. and later on, let Contractor go who does the Best Job for the Company, But Corrupted, lazy, perm. employee don't like that; CEO need to layoff all Managers at the Corp. Security dept. make them liable or let them go. Outsource everything....then, they will realized."

"Very challenging as I was in a new envrionmet of the sale and lease back of fiber optics. Contracts had to be written correctly and there were no gaap regulations at that point in fiber optics so we had to propose them for approval. Very very interesting. Left because becasue edison put for the first time an outside edison president to run another large edison and there was significant theft. After this edison decided to only promote to management internal edison employees for which I had only been 2 years not qualifitying"
