Drainpro Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Drain Pro is a product that demonstrates its excellent enzymatic performance in the grease trap, sump, and drain pipe applications. Liquid-Plumr is a chemical drain opener made of 0.5–2% sodium hydroxide and 5–10% sodium hypochlorite, and a surfactant, produced by Clorox. The product is safe for septic systems, PVC, plastic, and copper pipes, although is not recommended for and can damage rubber piping. The Liquid-Plumr products have a child-resistant closure that prevents leaking and potential harm.

Olivia Vivianne posted a review on Amazon after buying Liquid-Plumr in May 2020:

"Used this for a slow drain. Followed instructions to the letter. Yes, it cured my slow drain but it also ruined my copper piping! Later in the day, the pipe started leaking. This has never been a problem... the piping in my home was all replaced three years ago. Called in my neighbor who happens to be a plumber. He said the chemicals in the Liquid Plumber corroded the pipes. So now I have to have a piece of the piping replaced. Tossed the bottle and will never use it again."
