Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly known as diabetes, is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by a high blood sugar level over a prolonged period of time. Symptoms often include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased appetite.

Diabetes dramatically increases the risk of various cardiovascular problems, including coronary artery disease with chest pain (angina), heart attack, stroke and narrowing of arteries (atherosclerosis). If you have diabetes, you're more likely to have heart disease or stroke. Nerve damage (neuropathy).

We list a few great temporary employees, because our manager wanted to micromanage them. If you are in our department, the manager is a sheep in wolves clothing. You have to be her brown noser to stay. Her minion got promoted with complete attitude and only reason is because she acts like our manager. It is so sad to see great Temps gone that should have stayed."

"I have been working at Tandem Diabetes full-time for less than a year Cons: -Temps are used to do "backfill" work with no intention of hiring them full time. -Leadership lie as to why temps leave. How does every one who is let go happen to "forge their time card"? -Toxic gossip -No room for growth -Management plays favorites. Employee output and work ethic mean nothing since management only gives additional responsibilities to their confidants. -Little to no training. Training includes shadowing people in other departments, but no training on how to do your own job. Resulting in loads of employees not knowing how to use the system properly. Plus the senior employees who do the training are not great at their jobs, causing the cycle to never end. - Obvious tension between departments: -passive aggressive emails -no one takes responsibility for their actions - leadership is too lazy/don't care to have correct issues"

If you are an old childhood friend, church mate, wife, cousin, or a sibling of a tenured employee, you have nothing to worry about. Ever since I left Tandem and with my new employer, I have the time to come home on time, cook a meal and spend time with my family. I even know of several people that have left Tandem with severe health issue due to the stress they had while working here (their hair falling off, gaining extreme weight, stress syndromes confirmed by their doctors being work related) some of them development debilitating stress related syndrome for God sakes!, to a point were some of them have thought of suing the company. I hope this review helps other people avoid thinking in getting a job here, pay is good but your physical and mental health is everything!"

"In 23 years in the healthcare industry, I have never experienced this level of bullying and blatantly abusing their employees with words and throwing things at them. Unfortunately I accepted a position here and did not do my homework, WOW.. The company has so much potential but is being poorly managed and all they can keep are low level workers with no skills, The door keeps revolving because the owner thinks it is productive to scold,embarrass, curse out, call names to you and all staff, belittle and literally tell you, we should be lucky to work for her, People like this can't see beyond their nose, If you treat people right, you get better results and people who are willing to work for you, when abuse them you end up like this work culture, Hostile and Hopeless.. Best of luck to anyone who reads this but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!"

"Extremely unprofessional from the interview fwd. They offered me the position and wanted me to take the drug test that day, I told them I can but I was not ready to accept an offer because I had another position to interview for the next day. They seemed to take this personally and said they would have to continue interviewing. After I had the interview with the other place and I called them to see if they could send the benefit package to compare and they were reluctant saying they told me they would continue interviewing. I asked if that meant they retracted the offer and they came back to send me the info I requested and I at that pointed told them I accept the offer, but the whole ordeal was like dealing with a jealous boyfriend... more like girlfriend. Once working there they werent sure if they would have me working claims or doing insurance validation or contract negotiation so training was on a little bit of everything. Everyone there spoke in jargon and they had their own language so it was hard trying to relate what they had me doing to my 6 years of experience. They even used their own code sets as opposed to ICD 10 or HCPCS codes. On top of that their system was from the stone age. The owner seemed to be knowledgeable about how to run her business at a small business level but at the rate of growth they had she was horrible at managing and often over stepped her own managers, pulling people from one job the were assigned to work to another abruptly and on impulse without know what we as a team had going on. She also had a very foul mouth and was extremely unprofessional"

"I worked there for many years and each year it became more stressful and unbearable to stay. The owner will yell at you and even throw things in fits of rage. She uses very bad and offence language. only work there if you want to leave each day wondering if you have a job when you return."

"They don’t treat their employees like people ! I was let go for taking an approved vacation, after three days of not being there they left a voicemail saying I had no called no showed . I hated the place anyways so they did me a favor . Also if you don’t want to work 50 hours a week from the beginning of the month until the end of the month In order to meet their sale goals and POSSIBLY get incentives I wouldn’t recommend working there either ‼️"

You never know what you need to do and the work is constantly changing, and they never tell you what your position is or what their expectations are. Everyone works like a bunch of loose cogs. "This is a good company to work that is involved with the diabetic community. However the owner is not easy to work with. Other upper management are easy going and reasonable. End of the month is extremely hectic and long hours are expected. Cons: Learn as you go"

"It is very difficult to work there the management has unreasonable expectations for daily work. The coworkers are great and give each other great support. No chance of advancement or raises. Worked there for 5 years without a raise, they said the company did have the funds for raises. You are talked down to by upper management and never appreciated for anything that you do. The turn over rate for the company per year is in the 90 percentile. Does that tell you anything about the company. Cons: Hostile environment, no raises or promotions, management never appreciates any of your work."

"One of the worst places I have ever worked. The pay is 12 bucks a hour and the environment I'd hostile. Management has no regard for work like or just being professional. Management is run by family members who will openly criticize and demean employees. The owner is no better she literally went on a rant about people who smoke cigarettes and how the smell nauseated her and she could care less if they kill them selves. Management often times seem incompetent and treat employees as kids. They say your hours are one thing and at the last minute they will make you stay late and when I say that not just a couple minutes hours behind the time you are supposed to get off. Also the micromanagement is insane. Cons: Pay, management"

I enjoyed working here but I did not enjoy the constant change of employees. I love sales and working so I choose to be positive whatever the environment.This company had never had a direct referral from a doctor before I came per my manager. This company did not have the money to pay me so we agreed it would be a trial position. I was not replacing anyone. This company did not have the money to pay me. Cons: This company has a 98% turnover rate."
