Dbs Law Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Disclosure and Barring Service "DBS" is a non-departmental public body of the Home Office of the United Kingdom. The DBS enables organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially involving children or vulnerable adults, and provides wider access to criminal record information through its disclosure service for England and Wales.

An angry employee wrote for Glassdoor on November 2019, about how was working at the DBS, he said they have a terrible management: Bullying environment with little help from management. Extremely inflexible with a blame culture. I hated working here as do many others. DBS have had x3 contract companies in as many years and this shows the type of bad environment that exists.

"They took my case in 2016 and in 2 years 5 different solicitors have taken the case as every few months one leaves and it all starts from scratch again, ended up settling out of court for half of what the defence was offering as they had no one to take it to court the day of the hearing and now 2 months later they have received my compensation and still not paid it to me, their in administration and never return calls or respond to emails and when you do get through they fob you off with excuses and say the person dealing with your case isn't in."

Mrs Andrea Ryder says

"Absolutely awful! Avoid at all costs. Had our case (9 people) since Jan 2017, and have now decided they have a lesser chance of success quoting figures from 2015 as their reason. Never return phone calls or answer emails. I am still waiting for their complaints procedure which I’m sure won’t materialise and I will have to chase them for. Would not recommend this outfit at all."

"AVOID! Dreadful experience when using their conveyancing services from their Birmingham office. My case was transferred to a PART TIME SOLICITOR IN NOTTINGHAM (MONDAY AND THURSDAY) who had difficulty with communication. I was only informed of the solicitors availability when I raised concerns about the time delays! When I raised my issues with superiors, minimal action had been taken. The solicitor had done a lot of work incorrectly too! Incompetent, unreliable and stressful. The worst experience I have ever had from any professional service."
