Compeed Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Compeed (contraction of “Competition” and “Seed”) is a brand of hydrocolloid gel plasters for treating blisters, corns, cracked heels and cold sores. It was originally developed by Lars Backsell working in Denmark for Coloplast A/S. The brand was sold to Johnson & Johnson in May 2002 and HRA pharma acquired Compeed in 2017 from Johnson & Johnson but Compeed plasters are still manufactured by Coloplast.
Amy shares her frustrating experience on productreview.com.au, "Do not use Compeed Patch. I get cold sores on a regular basis and the creams do not seem to do much. I tried the patch’s and they do not stick to my face at all! They fall off instantly and actually spread my cold sore across onto my face. I may have had a bad batch but for £6 I will not buy again. Would not recommend. Furthermore Uses a lot of plastic and Unnecessary packaging which will Go straight into landfills."
