Welder and Fabricator (Former Employee) says

"I worked there for 15 years the first 10 were good, the last 5 I had to drag myself out of bed to go to the most miserable place in the world. I would have taken a pay cut to work anyplace but there. I wish anyone luck that hires in they will use you up and discard you. They can't make money if you work there to long Cons: Lots"

Receptionist and Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says

"They will terminate you for no reason at all. One week I was asked if I wanted to take over someone else’s job plus my own and because I said no. The next week they terminated me. The new HR lady is ruthless! I asked them to not send an email out with my name in it. Because that’s what they had been doing for everyone they terminate. Well I heard they sent out an email with my name in it. Cons: Management"

shop floor slave (Current Employee) says

"truly awful place to work poor management a high school diploma is not required to be a supervisor most supervisors cannot spell or read will tell you during the hiring us that there is hardly ever a layoff laid off two weeks later then brought back for a few months would not recommend this employer to anyone if you're not in the good old boys club forget it Cons: no longevity poor management in building #5"

Maintenance (Former Employee) says

"After years of dedication, you get hurt, turn in comp, but still continue to give them your everything, they get rid of you like the years of hard work and dedication to make their company bigger, meant nothing! They do not care about you....or your family. I'm praying they fall. They keep the people that talk smack about them and do not care."

Electric Technician (Former Employee) says

"Overall it’s a fair place to work. The pay was decent. My coworkers we good people to work with and on most days we all got along great. The supervisor was fairly decent too. Now the plant manager and assistant plant manager on the other hand. Those two would preach about team work but time after time again they would show you that they were in it for themselves and I one else. They lack any sort of human decency"

Design Engineer (Former Employee) says

"This was a short stint due to the failing Michigan economy. I learned a great deal about stump grinders."

Contributor (Former Employee) says

"It largely depends on what role you had there, but working at Bandit Industries, Inc. wasn't what I'd call "predictable". Office staff and factory guys treated differently. Cons: Capriciously run, semi-toxic at times, unpredictable"

Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) says

"Typical welding/fabricating work environment. Follow schematics and build equipment. Hot work but nothing out of the ordinary. Can be fast paced or laid back depending on orders"

Welder (Current Employee) says

"Unbalanced, inequality. Lacks fairness, where some of the lame remain and the good ones are let go or leave. That's what you get with the good ol boy system."

Marketing Associate (Former Employee) says

"8AM-5PM workday."

Engineer (Current Employee) says

"Bandit Industries is a family owned company that is still in the process of growing. The atmosphere is generally easy-going although they do expect you to work hard through the entire duration of your shift. The only negative aspects of this company are minimal chances of career advancement and low compensation. Cons: Compensation, Career Advancement"

worker (Former Employee) says

"Bandit is a good employer. They offered you all the bells and whistles when it came down to your health insurance and 401k. They matched your 401k to a certain point every year which was nice. The biggest problem there was the drama. A few managers got their position just because they were buddy buddy with another foreman. Sometimes they dump too much work on you if your a hard worker and can take advantage of some peoples strengths. Just do your job, stay out of the drama and you will like this job. Cons: drama and some poor managment"

Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) says

"Fast paced good co workers overall decent place to work. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this company as a long term place to work is due to their retirement plans Cons: Lots of overtime and retirement"

Welder/Fabricator (Former Employee) says

"Awesome place to work , very well thought out environment. The leadership and Management at Bandit are actually qualified for the position's.They also take care of there employee's"
