City A.M. Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

City A.M. Media Group is the publisher of City A.M., a free, business-focused newspaper distributed in and around London, England. Its certified distribution was 85,982 copies a day in January 2019, according to statistics compiled by the ABC, a drop of 5% year-on-year.

A former employee mentioned, "I worked at City A.M. part-time for less than a year. Was working as a merchandiser at Knightsbridge. I was doing very well until I attained an injury whilst on my way to work. I pulled a muscle in my back. The supervisor warned me that he didn’t want anyone working at Knightsbridge to get sick. He basically lied to Carlos at Blue Arrow and claimed that I had ongoing health problems. The injury was muscular in my back, but standing and distributing the paper made my back muscles ache, because I was still healing. The supervisor’s name was Masadur. I think he must have been prejudiced against me, maybe because I’m a female. I work through the winter months for these people with no shelter and a basic Mac provided by Blue Arrow. During my time at Knightsbridge, I managed to accumulate a steady flow of customers. To remove a worker without just cause is exploitation. I would not recommend working with these people at all."
