Cargotec Oyj (trading internationally as Cargotec Corporation) is a Finnish company that makes cargo-handling machinery for ships, ports, terminals and local distribution. Cargotec was formed in June 2005 when Kone Corporation was split into two companies to be listed: Cargotec and new KONE.After the split, Kone Corporation's container handling (Kalmar Global), load handling (HIAB) and marine cargo.
An employee mentioned, "There is plenty of work to do, but Cargotec can not seem to hold on to office personnel within each state, therefore they hire temps to do the work. If office personnel were treated with respect and dignity by the office mgr. It would make for a more enjoyable work environment and the longevity of their employees. However office personnel is threatened constantly that they will be fired by the office manager."
