Burger King (BK) is an American multinational chain of hamburger fast food restaurants. Headquartered in the unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County, Florida, the company was founded in 1953 as Insta-Burger King, a Jacksonville, Florida–based restaurant chain. After Insta-Burger King ran into financial difficulties in 1954, its two Miami-based franchisees David Edgerton and James McLamore purchased the company and renamed it "Burger King". Over the next half-century, the company changed hands four times, with its third set of owners, a partnership of TPG Capital, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, taking it public in 2002. In late-2010, 3G Capital of Brazil acquired a majority stake in the company, in a deal valued at US$3.26 billion. The new owners promptly initiated a restructuring of the company to reverse its fortunes. 3G, along with partner Berkshire Hathaway, eventually merged the company with the Canadian-based doughnut chain Tim Hortons, under the auspices of a new Canadian-based parent company named Restaurant Brands International. BK is the common abbreviation for the Burger King chain of fast food restaurants.

A customer angrily shared in a review "Went to Burger King near the Franklin Mills mall and received the worst service! First they forgot to include my order of onion rings and I had to drive thru again and now that I'm home and I unwrap my items, I am 3 nuggets short on a 8 piece, the Bacon Cheeseburger was minus the bacon and the fries were burnt. I will not be soliciting any more BK restaurants in the future."

"There is favoritism, gossipers, and discrimination in the location I was in. Something was telling me that this wasn't the job for me once I started having problems with the tablet and the way the manager was. I was observing very carefully and noticed they were those type of employees. I noticed there would be only one type of different race while the rest were the same so I knew something wasn't right. On my second day, an employee came over to me saying that the manager said I had one hour to finish all the training which is downright impossible and I spoke up telling them they were wrong to tell me that. I also found it ridiculous that the employees working there did not even know the answers to the question I did not understand. I felt very rushed. Once I was done with training, I noticed they were making me do the work other employees did not want to do and they finally asked me the position I applied for. When I checked the restroom, it seemed like it had not been clean for many months and had a disgusting smell of urine. The training was very sloppy and lazy too."

"Une direction irrespectueuse qui fait pleurer ses employées, qui ne respecte pas la vie privée de ses employés, en gros il faut vivre pour le restaurant avec un salaire bas (en dessous du seuil de pauvreté), pas d'heures supplémentaires. Il n'y a pas de possibilités de passer en 35h. On n'a pas le droit de quitter le poste sans l'autorisation du manager et ce même si on a terminé notre journée de travail. Direction malhonnête, et fourbe qui ne respecte pas toujours le code du travail. Intimidations, menaces en privée dans le bureau fermé sans témoins. Sur le terrain, des employées qui sont poussés à bout, qui sont obligés de faire le boulot de 3 personnes pour aucune considération même les managers démissionnent c'est catastrophique. De l'esclavage moderne ou les employés sont selon les dires de la directions "Pas remplaçables" Les repas sont payants et en plus on ne peut pas prendre ce que l'on veut. Vous pouvez effectuer également effectuer 10 jours consécutifs avec seulement deux jours de repos et ensuite refaire 10 jours.pointeuseAucun respect de la direction pour les employés."

These Middle Eastern shit for brains owners are taking taking taking but not reinvesting into their business. Fuck them. McDonalds across the street just demolished to rebuild new. "Sioux Falls, SD. @ 401 W 85th St. VERY disrespectful through drive thru. Cold food, made in microwave because they didn't want to clean up for an allergy. Sloppy packaging. Fries upside down in bag. Would not do two separate orders per car. Went to Culvers instead. No matter who you are or how your day went, you should NEVER disrespect your customers! The idea is to bring customers in, not drive them away!!"

"This is the store in L'Anse Michigan. This is my first ever negative review or thought about this store. I generally love this store and their employees. Food normally comes out good. Never had a problem with this store until today. I guess I should have kept my mouth shut because I got cold food. Whoppers had about five squares of lettuce, one piece of onion, and half a tomatoes. Remember my happy mood. I was still in a great mood when she made me wait a few minutes before taking my order. I asked for two cheeseburger kids meal, ketchup and pickles only. She slowly said, cheeseburger, no mustard. Then repeated, no mustard right. I told her I didn't know what comes on a cheeseburger, so as long as it's just ketchup and pickles it's fine. She said well that's the way it comes. I said that I didn't know that. It felt like I was supposed to know how a meal I haven't order in 20 years comes. Next I said "and.".. She said over top of me, "well yeah", I said "excuse me, and fries". As I was trying to say and and apple juice she interrupted me again with "That's how it comes", referring to the fries. I said "excuse me" because that was twice she interrupted me because I was obviously supposed to know how these meals come. So I then repeated the apple juice order. Again while I was trying to order mine and hubby's food she interrupted me again, "thats the way they come", referring to the juice. I finally was able to get my order in. We go around the corner and wait. The child asked what's taking so long. We get to the window with smiles on our faces. She walks our food to the window, sets it down, then takes another order. When she finished she opened her window, without a word she reached her hand out, I give her my card. She ran the card. Sat it on the counter, handed us our food too fast to keep up, which is normal, not complaining. Then she gives me my card and mumbles nice day."

"The BK on Washtenaw in Ann Arbor, MI is HORRIBLE! My Husband raved about the chicken sandwich that he ordered from the BK location in Ypsilanti, MI (located on Michigan Ave); and opted to introduce me to the taste bud experience. The first experience was in deed amazing! The next two times I desired a chicken sandwich he made the grave mistake of going to the Ann Arbor location. The first time I thought was a fluke; but the second has assured me that it is simply their method of operation! My Husband ordered a FRESH chicken sandwich (2 for $5 to be exact)...he was even able to go inside to assure that the order was made fresh. We live right down the street and to my disappointment my sandwiches were far from satisfactory! Burnt and soggy is the accurate terms! The Washtenaw location has made my list of establishments to never again consider!"

"On may 6 I came in the drive thru and I order food and there was a girl who took my older and she was really sweet her name was abbie but that's not the problem the problem is when I came to the window her manager was doing my shake and the girl named cassie was behind the manager and poured chocolate all on his face he was upset and he ran after her and the girl had to take orders give me my icecream and my food while getting drinks and taking orders and then to top it off cassie pulled her phone and was right in front of my food not doing her job but just texting that girl needed help and no one helped her at all but she got all the food out and she is doing a great job"
