From Everything.Sucks

This is a list of Kentucky companies which includes notable companies that are headquartered in Kentucky, or were previously headquartered in Kentucky.

One of the ex-senior account executives of Bradsby Group said,"This is a shark tank. One of their motto's is if you aren't a client, you're a source...if you are a client, you're still a source. Zero training and development, zero supplies offered, you are paid on a draw and if you're lucky you'll see your first commission well after the first year. Very old school as well, forced to hit quantity of calls, quality does not matter. If you are successful, there is still a solid chance that they will fire you and take the clients you bring in."

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (Former Employee) says

"This is a shark tank.

Executive Recruiter (Former Employee) says

"Picture the movie Glengarry Glen Ross, or the Boiler Room, and you will have an idea of what it is like to work at the Bradsby Group. Promises are made, but not delivered. They claim you're part of a team, but I've never been so alone in my life. Leadership will tell you what you want to hear, but never deliver. They will use you for whatever they can, and drop you like a bad habit. There is no training, and no attempt to help an employee improve. You either make it happen, or you are out."

Executive Account Manager (Former Employee) says

"Some cool people work there but probably not for long, one of the worst turn overs I've ever seen. Good luck and you'll need it if you work there! Cons: It all pretty much sucks especially the wretched person running the business."

Web Developer (Former Employee) says

"Took a one year contract that only lasted four months before the company decided to move its task force to another country. Had to work there for three months before being eligible for insurance. Then, when contract ended, they did not have any new work, so I got a job somewhere else. When I was laid off from that job, I filed for unemployment and Bradsby group said I had quit my job. I was able to prove that I had finished my contract and won my case, but Bradsby shouldn't have fought the unemployment. Cons: No other jobs, fought unemployment, 3 month wait for insurance"

Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) says

"Don't really have much to say about them. Just filling up the space because Indeed is making me. Almost to their 150 character minimum. I have finally arrived and can stop typing. Cons: working on a draw"

Recruiter (Former Employee) says

"top billers get better treatment. everyone else is meat. you could make the company 100k this month and get canned the next for blanking next month. money is great, but keep you foot on the gas"

Account Executive (Former Employee) says

"Crazy work environment. Management was kinda cool, but unsupportive. Constant double talk by upper management. Compensation was basically 100% commission, your work from a draw. I was canned after 3 weeks, which was supposed to be a "training period". Overall a very different place to be. Cons: No support, cut throat."

Senior Account Executive (Former Employee) says

"If you've seen the movie you know what I mean. My ratings do not necessarily reflect my experience there. In fact I really enjoyed working there but it's not a fit for me. You are expected to work AT LEAST 50 hours per week plus do work when you get home and on the weekends. The environment is loud and unprofessional. It really didn't bother me that much but it's important to note. Cons: See above"

Senior Account Manager, Accounting and Finance (Former Employee) says

"The set up of the company was horrid. You had employees pitted against each other, and the culture was to hide and steal candidates. Would never recommend any one work there."

Senior Recruiter/Principal (Former Employee) says

"Bradsby Group gives you an opportunity to make money if you're in the right market AND, if your market manager is competent, which isn't always the case. If you don't produce, you're out. Cons: micromanagement, pettiness by managers"

Executive Recruiter (Former Employee) says

"First of all there is a draw. The way they present it to you, you should be fine until your pipeline builds not true. Supposedly a team environment but it is cut throat. Immediate management is great that is all I can say. Cons: Micromanaged, dog eat dog, draw and commission only"

Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) says

"It a sink or swim environment, most sectors have managers that provide no support. Every person for themselves Cons: everything isn't what it seems"

Senior Security Subject Matter Expert (Former Employee) says

"Bradsby was a pretty good company. They did work at lot with me to get the job and work through the finer details. I did not get as much for relocation costs as was originally agreed upon. Cons: I did not get as much for relocation costs as was originally agreed upon."

Principal (Former Employee) says

"In the end, I learned good new sales skills but as well learned that selling with integrity is necessary. I learned to train cold calling techniques and trained many. The money was good and my colleagues were great. Cons: abusive selling environment"

Senior Account Executive (Former Employee) says

"I only spent 4 months with Bradsby. My supervisor was a great manager and mentor. He and I still keep in touch. However, I vehemently disagree with the CEO. Cons: Dishonest CEO"

Full Desk Recruiter (Current Employee) says

"Very tough to start out. You have to build your book of business from scratch. If you are not opposed to cold calling all day every day, this is the place for you."

Former Employee - Senior Account Executive says

"I worked at Bradsby Group full-time for more than a year Cons: Churn and burn environment for recruiters"

Current Employee - Principal Recruiter says

"I have been working at Bradsby Group full-time for more than 3 years Cons: If you are working with a client and trying to make placements and/or already have made placements with them, there are other groups and sometimes people within your group who recruiting people out of there. You can have money that you earned taken away form you for 'the good of the company' or for the benefit of someone else who will always be in management. Rules, best practices, policies, etc. are always changing and really don't exist. They do exist when management uses them to their advantage which will almost always take advantage of you. The short end of the stick will always be yours. Good luck, trying to work with other groups to cross-sell or create other opportunities. This place thrives on unhealthy competition. Every person for themselves. No training for new hies and this creates a revolving door. You are made to feel like you underachieve if your productivity takes a dip. I have seen my manager routinely misrepresents their productivity. We work on job orders that are not viable just so they can have some activity for the week. Culture & Values do not exist here, unless by culture you mean always for the betterment of yourself and yourself only. You are expendable."

Former Employee - Account Executive says

"I worked at Bradsby Group full-time for less than a year Cons: Ownership and management want you to work yourself to death and not make any money. Everything is designed to make the company and managers money and not the regular employees. They don't care at all about new employees and are happy to see them fail. Existing employees are threatened by people who come in with experience and show any semblance of success."

Former Employee - Recruiter says

"I worked at Bradsby Group full-time Cons: The owner is one of the rudest unethical people to work for. Be prepared to get put down all the time by Greg doesn’t hold back that he loves trump let’s it be known."

Principal says

"I worked at Bradsby Group for more than a year Cons: Very unethical company asking you to do things to clients and candidates you don't feel comfortable with. 3 days off first year but good luck trying to get any time off. No room for growth. Sit at your desk and make 80-120 calls per day. No flex hours."

Former Employee - Recruiter says

"I worked at Bradsby Group full-time for more than a year Cons: Unethical business practices, commission structure, parking, environment, training, CRM, computers, managers"

Executive Sales Recruiter says

"I worked at Bradsby Group for less than a year Cons: Management lies and was incompetent"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Bradsby Group full-time Cons: it is from my understanding that the owner asked current employees to write good reviews on this site to counter the bad reviews. serious lack of training and leadership. No direction and very cut throat company. No team environment as everyone is alone on that ship and all you are is just a number."

says

"I worked at Bradsby Group Cons: Do anything you can to win attitude which involves shady business practices on the regular. Lies to candidates and clients, misrepresentations, zero training for recruiters, just a slimy old-school recruiting shop - not something you see too often anymore."

Senior Account Executive says

"I worked at Bradsby Group Cons: Back stabbing, lack of true training, racist owner who has no problem speaking his mind is what you can expect."
