Bourgault Industries Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company that manufactures agricultural equipment including air seeders, air drills, cultivators, chisel plows, field harrows, grain carts and liquid fertilizer carts. The company distributes products in Western Canada, and exports to United States, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, and South Africa.
A former employee of Bourgault Industries said "It's a pretty big company whose main operations is located in the middle of nowhere. There is not experience to be had there. In Bourgault Industries the wages and benefits are average. I would not recommend staying at Bourgault Industries longer that 3 years as it's just not worth it."
Saw Operator,Purchaser, Small Tool Repair,Assembler (Former Employee) says"Stressful place to work no matter what a person does is not good enough the Formans are basically watching over your shoulders at all times snooping at you spying on you you make one mistake they write you up they don’t give you chances they’re just really hard to please and as far as I’m concerned it is just a normal job get in keep your mouth shut and get out and do not talk to nobody Cons: If you talk, you don’t have a job, keep your opinion and any personal problems to yourself at all times"
Assembler (Former Employee) says"Don't work here is your a Canadian. They like to hire immigrants, pay them 1/2 what a Canadian gets.currently systemically firing long term employees"

Full of double standards and ignorant people the locals who have been there 30years manipulate management and treat outsiders like trash . The 2 brothers who work the front end and the biggest snakes you will ever work with"
Material Handler (Former Employee) says"Cannot say too many good things about Bourgault. I have had many supervisors as I worked in many areas. Some great people with great leadership skills apply for supervisor roles but those roles seem to always get filled by the ones with close relations to management. Therefore, advancement is very difficult unless you have a good relationship with management. Cons: Management/Advancement"
Welder (Current Employee) says"Management and planning is very poor. Little concern for laborers. Lack of opportunity’s for advancement to the people who really need to be trained on new machines. Cons: Swing shift. 2weeks of day shift and 2 weeks of night shift"
