Bess Armstrong Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Elizabeth Key "Bess" Armstrong (born December 11, 1953) is an American film, stage and television actress. She is best known for her roles in films The Four Seasons (1981), High Road to China (1983), Jaws 3-D (1983), and Nothing in Common (1986). Armstrong also starred in the ABC drama series My So-Called Life and had lead roles in a number of made-for-television films.

A fan had this to say after a Bess Armstrong movie premiere at the cinema, "This movie is not all that bad but seemed to have a lack of realism and the storyline seemed to have discontinuities. I think it's a good movie but not a great movie. The female role seemed unrealistic to me or maybe Bess Armstrong wasn't the best choice for the role. For example the female role is a young rich partying society girl who is an expert stunt pilot. I'm not an expert but doesn't it take years to develop that skill? I would envision a hardened older women would have worked better in that role, but then the romance wouldn't work."

"I ordered a book almost 4 months ago and it still hasn’t arrived. All my emails to them have been responded to with generic replies answering none of my questions and giving me no indication of if/when I will receive a refund. I find it very frustrating that you have no opportunity to discuss your issues directly with a staff member as they have no phone contacts. I would never trust fishpond again."

"I have had an absolute nightmare with this company. I ordered a primer, which was shipped from the USA, so i expected a few delays. I followed the tracking it stated that the item had actually arrived in the UK. Hooray or so I thought, then i received a card stating that there was £18.11 to pay for a customs charge. I immediately contacted fish pond & stated that ive never ever had to pay a charge previously for this item & why should I as they advertise free shipping. I did get a reply, firstly saying that I should pay this amount & that they would refund me provided I sent them the receipt, which i did. 6 days after their original email i still haven't received my refund from them, which is really upsetting & frustrating, particularly as I have been a customer with them since 2014. I email them everyday but they have since ignored me. I think that they should be ashamed of themselves, a promise is a promise & they clearly don't know how to keep one. I will never order from them again after this fiasco as I don't trust them"

"I ordered on 23rd July, I paid £89 for a slappy ventriloquist doll for my sons birthday! The order status hadn't changed as of the 26th so I emailed and got no response, I emailed again on the 29th and woke up this morning to this email Hi Tori, Thank you for your enquiry at We reviewed the order and can confirm that the order was flagged by our Fraud team and subsequently cancelled. Due to the constant rise of online fraud, we have several checks in place to make sure that we do not process any orders that could be fraud. There was no way for us to verify that this order was placed by you and the Fraud team decided to cancel the order as they felt that it would the safest for both the buyer and Fishpond. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused in this regard. Kind regards Jaiko Customer Services Team I am utterly devastated, I don't know what to do"

"May 5th 2020 I ordered a book. $117. I continue to email them asking where my order was. My reply was please wait a bit longer due to the covid 19 there is a delay for shipping. There tracker said it was dispatch on the 13th may. You took my money when you didn't even have it in stock. Week later you email and say Good News we have you book and dispatched on the 13th may. I put a NZ tracker on it. Twice I have been email to say its has no information on it being in NZ. You delayed me my money back by asking me to wait a bit longer. And now I cant get a refund on this product. Why not. I don't have my book. I now realise im not the only one who feels ripped off. Will follow the same path and put in official complaint."
