Beats Electronics LLC (also known as Beats by Dr. Dre, or simply Beats by Dre) is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. that produces audio products. Headquartered in Culver City, California, the company was founded by music producer and rapper Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

Noah Itman for Digital Music News mentioned how if you buy Beats By Dre headphones, you’re an idiot. "You’re going to over-spend on plastic-y garbage that defines ‘fashion over function’. You’ll blow your hard earned cash on Beats by Dre. The Beats By Dre Pro cost a whopping $400! As you can see from their webpage, Beats claims that these are ‘the headphones used to mix in every major studio’. This is an absolute lie. I know people at several major studios and they would not use fashion headphones for mixing. One person who works in a major studio even told me that he bought a pair of these headphones and promptly returned them because the bass was so overpowered. It was causing pressure on his eardrums, even at low volumes."

"A typical workday is to be present on campus 5 days a week and work 8 hours a day. Then you are expected to volunteer for committees and other events on and off campus. Ivy Tech administration expects you to work many hours on your own time on class work.Good faculty camaraderiePoor leadership by administration, expect instructors to work long hours for same salary."

"Horrible!! Unorganized, complacent to employee needs or desires, video surveillance of hourly employee break rooms only , no other employee break room in the entirety of Ivy Tech has this just hourly employees, hourly employees treated like second class citizens, the red head step child it seems, bickering administrative personnel, petty micromanaging superiors (God complex), always plotting on employees in some fashion, ever changing ideas that have no merit at all and absolutely ZERO direction, Tasks that need attention are ignored for remedial unimportant visceral things such as appearance ,( if it looks good it is good) Work home life balance a complete sham because of ladder climbing foolish people who care nothing about the people they manage , Ever changing work conditions because of an over abundance of management personnel (to many chiefs no where near enough Indians) same old story same old same old song and dance, we are changing we are growing blaa blaa blaa nothing changes only the line bologna ... move on bad place to work...Noneto many to list...."

"Do not work at the MC location unless you like a controlling environment. They are a joke. They only care about numbers and will make you call potential students numerous times. Only 28 hours a week, no raises, and a whole lot of stressful work with little pay.The instructors are amazingEverything else. Admissions, Hr, etc."

"I feel like I spent numorous preparation time outside of the classroom. Of Course we dont get paid for the prep hours so there are many hours that never get reimbursed. I feel the students complain when they get a C or below even if the validitiy of the tests and the result of the test scores are on the mean. You work independently to use the Instructors materials as well as collecting outside examples and material. The prep materials in the library for Psychology were low. Ironicaly, despite communication problems by only using gmail to communicate I did enjoy this job I just needed a higher salary for the stress level of the job.Teach Independently. Instructors manuals were provided"

"Horrible leadership. Paid for 40 hours per week, but not any more. No overtime pay, even though you may need to work. This results in some of the work not getting done. Layoffs beginning the first week of 2018. The threat of layoffs are repeated on a regular basis. You may be next. (bullying). Several supervisors manage by being bullies. The bullying results in employees unable to give good customer service. The new hires in Student Services are 90% the same and nice studentsbullies, race preference, job instability"

"Would recommend job shadowing/speaking with different staff before you plunge in, as it is not what it seems. Also, take what some employees share with a grain of salt, as most may provide false representation due to fear of repercussions."

"I worked for this college for about 10 years and only near the end of my time there was offered advancement. I would work on 4 different campuses and had to drive ALL OVER Northwest Indiana. Then, after finally getting a decent position, I had to work with a woman who was totally out of her mind. It got so bad that I just had to get out of there. There were times I would be assigned to teach 7 classes with up to 99 students per class (online). I was paid well - but I just could not keep up. Loads of backstabbing and instability. Even the deans were caught up in a lot of dirty business. There is no amount of money that could ever get me to work for this place again.One note - wonderful student body who wanted to learn. They didn't always seem to come first in the minds of department chairs or management.the studentseverything and i mean everything else"

There is no reward for working hard to provide a good service. Bosses don't want to lose hard workers, but also don't want to pay them. Supervisors will discuss career goals and opportunities with lazy workers, but seem bent on leaving a hard worker stuck in a role.paid time offhard work is not recognized, laziness is encouraged and rewarded, hard workers are stuck at entry level"
