A customer left this review, "Worst place to work. They don't give you any hours and the pay raises are a joke..and the only way to move up is to know someone or have a family member in management and don't ask for time off you wont get it. This company has never cared about their employees. All it took was a pandemic to really show their true colors. They cut our hours. You have to burn through all your vacation time to have a regular paycheck. We are constantly getting scheduled short and the hospital is back to it's normal census. We are overworked, underpaid, underappreciated. Management sucks.

"Have to pay for own parking if on campuses. Half of the managers are good but the other half are really horrible. Low pay. Doesn't want you to accept tips. Little to no chance to move into management from base level depending on location. Trained over 20 employees, 4 Aramark location managers, and various shift leads/supervisors but was passed up for promotion. Not a place to get your hopes up about working for."

"While working there was slightly annoying. Having to prepare meals for I would say 300 kids in about two hours was crazy. My supervisor was a huge pain in my butt. She screamed yelled and never gave you encouragement. "It has been 11 years since I worked for Aramark speaking only for me it was no fun washing dishes and pots and pans and working very hard and doing a very good job and only getting a 15 cent raise. The man that once worked for Aramark is no longer there or the manager, they got fired. I worked in High School kitchen.Lunch was free but the mashed potatoes lacked on flavorI received no breaks"

"You are never secure and often find that hard workers are rarely rewarded and opotunitys to be promoted or to better yourself are never mentioned. The managers are usually connected in some way (old friends etc) and are willing to let you do the hard work but have no intention of sharing this information when being thanked for it. Seldom is any training done and the management have their favourites which is usually a family member who receives preferencial treatment ( never-ending holidays, getting paid full time hours but don't seem to turn up for half their shifts). It is beyond belief that the management aren't monitored or questiond as it is blatant but co-workers are powerless as they have no one to report this to. I have never experienced anything like this. I just wonder what this company that continues to advertise fair treatment and diversity in the work place has done to receive all these awards that they advertise but have no actual evidence of ever helping or monitoring staff. Their an absolute disgrace. No such thing unless you're related to the management .Corruption through the management"

"The worst place to work , nothing but drama , manager’s leave the work place and don’t come bk until shift change , supervisor dating cooks and servers . Supervisors lies on servers and cooks and management don’t even get to the bottom of the situation the just side wit the supervisor and then when HR coming in to observe the supervisor and management act as if everything is all good and work place is just so wonderful, then when the leave management leaves and I don’t see them no more until it time for them to clock out all management do is still time from Aramark and nothing happen worse job ever"

"I work in a correctional institution for Aramark. When the covid virus hit the prison, I was right in the middle of it. I was not given hazard pay, I never missed a day of work even when two of my managers contracted the virus. I had to provide my own PPE's. When I asked about any type of hazard pay or compensation, I was told "to be glad I was even working.""

"Firme contrato para ser Coordinador de Seguridad e Higiene. El día que se supone ingresaría a curso de inducción se me sito en oficina para comentarme que la vacante había sido cancelada. La verdad fue que lamentablemente hubo un error en el proceso de reclutamiento, yo no podía ser contrata por falta de una certificación que en 3 ocasiones les comente que no tenía, aun mencionándolo 3 veces me fueron pasando en sus filtros y hasta firme contrato. No se respeto el mismo, se realizo mi baja con la promesa de saldar monetariamente ese mes de contrato firmado, lo cual no se ha hecho hasta el día de escribir estas lineas. El equipo de reclutamiento ya no se hace responsable y el departamento de RH no contesta ni llamadas, ni mensajes, pésima atención y manejo por parte del personal. Dudo mucho que este tema se vaya a resolver. En general, todo mal, formas, comunicación, procesos, todo. El colmo fue que anterior a esto tenía trabajo en otra empresa, renuncie por considerar la oportunidad de Aramark un paso adelante en mi desarrollo profesional y con la certeza de tener un contrato firmado con ellos. Ahora no se respeto mi contrato, no se cumplió con el reembolso del dinero y tampoco cuento con mi empleo anterior. Todo muy mal.NingunoEl manejo de RH en general"

He constantly reached out to him with no reply just to find out that he fired him and said that he abandoned the job. That’s all lies. He needs to fired. This job cares nothing about you. They have also had multiple people in the warehouse test positive for COVID-19 and did not follow the right protocols as far as shutting the ware house down for disinfecting. This warehouse sends bread all over Atlanta. DO NOT APPLY TO THIS JOB!!!"

"Horrible company. Huge turnover with management at every level. I doubt there’s a college degree anywhere in this company. A sales Representative sells the product, it won’t get installed for 5-6 weeks then takes another 6 weeks before you get commission. Our service is horrendous. Nobody except sales will pick up a phone and talk to a customer. Managers hide. You cannot go back to customers you sold for referrals because they will hate Aramark Uniform Service and they will yell at you. These jerks actually fired salespeople For performance in the middle of a pandemic when most businesses were closed. This company is soulless. Run away from Aramark. You can take all the towels and TP you want.Just a gross company."

"my experience with the sulphur springs location was terrible. There is a group of people that have been at this location for 20+ years and who have lost the value of patent service. They steal food and are angry almost all the time. The management does nothing about it. Ask you to do 2-3 peoples jobs then expect you to continue.Nothing$11.25 is enough for a high school kid not an adult with adult bills."

"Aramark isn't a good company to work for, they don't pay as well as the Aramark at the hospital, they don't give a enough bereavement days for a death of a loved one, I'm not able to see how much PTO, vacation, or sick time i have being that it's not on my paystub, my manager hides the request days off forms from her employees so we have to ask her for them when they suppose to be available to be put out in a folder and available to us as we need them, my manager allows certain employees to get away with things that she would write me or other employees up for, they have done NOTHING for us since we been working through this pandemic, no hazard pay, no gift cards, no raise, nothing. One of my co workers were fired over the phone ..i was wrote up for "my attendance" but my co worker has been coming in late everyday but has NEVER been wrote up for it ..our manager doesn't like for us to be talking to each other about the issues we have she claims that we are starting drama in the workplaceMonday-Friday work schedule no weekendsLow pay, employee favortism, do as i say not as i do mentality in management, no support, no hazard pay, no employee appreciation for working through pandemic"

"Great company lack people that really know how to manage.and very very under paid I work for this company for almost a year. Now. I moved up pretty fast in it. But what I have learned is the work and the money doesn't add up they want you to do. Stuff that's not on the contract. And go above and beyond but they refuse to pay you. The benefits are great. Other than that, I don't think I will work for this company for the simple fact that the work does not add up to the money. The money does not add up to the work."
