Amsouth Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
AmSouth Bank corporation was a banking company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and operated for its final year in existence as a bank holding company of Regions Financial Corporation after a merger between the two banks. AmSouth was previously known as First National Bank of Birmingham, which was first organized by Charles Linn in 1872. AmSouth was in the financial services industry and at its peak employed over twelve thousand people.
An upset former employee said this on Indeed "To be brutally honest, the culture at Regions is very anti-employee and getting worse. The benefits continue to go down hill. Regions benefits and "perks" were decent until AmSouth took hold of them. The latest abuse is their new prior service policy. If you have any break in your service at all, you get NONE of your time back, even if you have 10 or 20 years of prior service with Regions. So if anybody reading this post is a former Regions employee, remember that you will not get any of your time back if you go back to Regions.I really do not see how they keep anybody other than the very desperate".
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"This bank is really AmSouth Bank and not the old Regions, they are not willing to let go of the old AmSouth ways, polices, computer programs and Regions did some of those things better. The former AmSouth employees seem to get favoritism, especially in management positions or promotions. Hours can be inflexible at times."
