Ahl Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. When NHL teams do not have an AHL affiliate, players are assigned to AHL teams affiliated with other NHL teams. Twenty-seven AHL teams are located in the United States and the remaining four are in Canada.
Ahl has no work/home balance and no human resources, and employees are treated like a number, claims a former employee at glassdoor.com
"Hardcore, a corporate company that will treat you like a number. Before I've left we've been told by one of the managers that soon lunch breaks will be a thing of the past. Everyone was expected to outstay the manager even though you'd finish your work and there wasn't much to do. No work/home balance and no HR."
Youth Worker (Current Employee) says"Senior management are not in step with other employees. They live in there Ivory castle in Canberra. Cons: to many"
Cook (Current Employee) says"At first it will seem like a great company to work for good benefits. But..... in a few years after you have bent over backwards for AHL and they don't need you anymore. You will no longer be employed. Anyone with a opinion will no longer have a job. The communication between AHL and staff doesn't exist. You make a complaint to the complaints line and because their all in with each other your complaint with be a joke to them and not taken serious. You will not have support at all when it comes to this business."
