It is wholly owned by Mars, Incorporated, and along with Mars chocolate bars and other candy products, makes up Mars Wrigley Confectionery. It is the largest manufacturer and marketer of chewing gum in the world.
Line Worker (Former Employee) says"While at Wrigley I worked 12 hour shifts, form 7am-7pm. Usually we had alternating shifts, four days on two days off. Or three days on, two days off. My body never really got use to the changes ever week. When the holidays came we had overtime but in the summer some days associates would be sent home for lack of work.I made pretty good money and met many different kinds of people while at Wrigley'sTwo people died and almost lost my life because of bad machinery."
