"There office building was nice. There was plenty of parking in the garage - but may come at a small fee. There was plenty of options for Lunch time as well."

Credentialing Verification Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Employees not friendly, poor management never available always in meetings or office door closed. No open door policy. Other employees unsure on different tasks that need to be done no one knew who we should ask."

"Look up review in Wiktionary, the free dictionary."

supervisor (Former Employee) says

"no accountability for upper management. Managers can do and say what they want there is no direction to lower level employees. Not a fun environment to work for, employees are not fairly compensated for the amount of work they are expected to produce. Upper management makes tons in bonus' each year while employees a are given a pitance of 2%/yr which equals out to about an exrta 20/month."

ex employed (Former Employee) says

"Worst company to work for I use to work there and the management sucks they don't care about their employees all they care is about exploring people with work load the supervisor sucks does not no how to talk to her employee's they treat u like crab and as far as the director and also they are not capable of hearing what the employee has to say.they go behind your back and talk about you think about it twice if u wish to work there. Cons: No breaks u work like a slave"

Home Health Aide (Former Employee) says

"This is a stepping stone job, nothing is safe here. Not your retirement pension, current work hours, pay; everything changes for the worst at times. Most of all the staff was usually worst than the patients you may deal with. However, the training staff and nurses are the better part of the business and unfortunately underpaid for what they deal with there. I didnt benifit in the way I could grow with the company but I did learn that no matter how bad or how down, I will stand for something. Thank you for that. Cons: Staff are worst than any patients your many encounter, under paided"

Registered Nurse Case Manager (Former Employee) says

"Partners is a large entity which has lost sight on care. Employees are not valued what so ever. I worked there for almost 3 years and left less than a month before my anniversary. The benefits were decent but not enough to have me jeopardize me licensure. As a case manager you would sometimes have 10+ patients on your schedule and then they would still try to give you an admission. We could barely manage the patients on service but still they accepted several admissions per day. They have an "Always yes" policy. If you don't have the staff to take care of these people how can you always say yes? If a case manager has 35+ people on their case load who are seen 2+ times/week how can they be effectively case managed? The clinicians bring work home and get paid for 40 hours when in truth they are working 80+ hours. They then complain about paying out overtime if you try to bill for it. If documentation is not complete then your written. There is no middle ground. Your overworked, under paid and unappreciated. Managers are left to do what they want where staff is concerned. I had a manager who a totally different discipline who didn't know head from tails about the job but would criticize everyone when she felt. She was a poor clinical leader and the killed the team moral. Even when these issues were brought to management they did nothing. We were spoken to in a demeaning way and told if we don't like our jobs we can leave. And so the turn over rate sky rocketed. Management still didn't care and also had the 'if you don't like it leave' mentality. How can an entity with ANY vision Cons: Long hourse, not engough compensation for the amount of work that has to be done, Overloading clinicians with patients DAILY, high case loads, managers of different disciplines, managers with the "God" complex, bullying"

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Most reviews I read about Partners HealthCare suggest a great work place, but it is anything but if you work within Information Services. It would be great if ratings on these sites could accommodate for department based ratings so users could better understand the potential challenges they are stepping into. Cons: Lack of clear strategy, Minimal Growth Opportunity, Salaries are not market competitive, zero accountability"

General Services (Former Employee) says

"Extremely LOW PAY .Communication is also a strong weakness among management. Benefits are good but the hourly wage is the same as it was in 1980s and makes it impossible to make ends meet."

Senior Inpatient Coding Specialist (Former Employee) says

"had to code at least 5 high dollar cases from 100,000 to 3 million dollars. no diversity. stressful management leadership. good training. great benefits. good exposure to case mix."

Accounts Payable Clerk (Current Employee) says

"Partners as a company is good"

Network Technician FULL TIME (Current Employee) says

"micro management, unfair, treats employees as if they are nobody, makes you feel like your not wanted or do enough, always want more out of you, treats employees like high school students, talks down to employee, pay raise unfair always looking for something you did wrong to lower your raise. Pay raise is only 3% and if you did something slightly wrong they go down to 1.5%. Cons: False info, low pay raise, treats people as if they where slaves."

Community Obstetrics Gynecology Staff Nurse (Former Employee) says

"I worked in one of the outpatient health centers and in my experience the leadership is weak, does not address employee conflicts promptly which leads to resentment and a hostile environment. Protocols vary by departments but are tarnished by favoritism. Cons: Leadership lacks accountability"

Data Entry (Current Employee) says

"Great company but the management needs a lot of work. No one really cares about you and they have people that they treat better then others when it comes to pay or whatever else you can think of. Cons: pay and management"

Registered Nurse (Current Employee) says

"Poor work environment, poor leadership support, nurses do way to much and are expected to put in just about any order that an MD. Some even put in Cat scan orders. Some docs are so miserable they are not even approachable. Some nurse when giving report will not pick up tasks if you were not able to get to the. Lowest Morale I have ever seen. People talk about each others business even health issues.not saying all are bad,but bad enough a lot of bullying and probably HIPPA violations as well as a lot of lateral violence--leadership is more concerned getting patients up whether or not the report was given, if a tele pt has to travel with a nurse..Its rediculous Cons: For now-the check clears"

Insurence verification rep (Former Employee) says

"Management does not care for their employees. They only care about numbers and the amount of money they can pull in. They frown on employees leaving at the end of their shift and cannot stay to get their job done. Work overload. I have seen employees work 10 to 12 hours a day. Cons: Bad management and work overload"

Member Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"Overall the company is good but the managers and people that run it to favoritism and are not professional at all would not suggest partners to anyone"

Patient Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"Too much work for very little pay. Rules change every single week. They keep adding more and more work and do not lower the amount of accounts you must complete in a day. So that leaves quality where? No quality and then you get in trouble for the poor quality...ridiculous."

Billing Clerk (Former Employee) says

"Partners is an ok place to work, but the hours they ask you to put in on the weekends are crazy and they expect you to do this just about every weekend, and I think that's crazy when you have small children at home, if your a single parent, or if you have a spouse that works on the weekends as well. The people are nice as well as the atmosphere."
