Wella AG is a major German hair care company headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany. Founded in 1880 by Franz Ströher, it specializes in hair care, styling and colorants sold to individuals as well as hairdressers and was controlled by Procter & Gamble from 2003 until it was sold to Coty, Inc. in 2015 along with some 40 other P&G brands.
Blaire L. says, "Did not like this [Wella] product at all. I tried this color out because my hair was very blonde, almost white and this color did not come out blue at all. I thought it was gonna be so beautiful and my hair was at the perfect stage for any color really. I have thick hair so I knew to buy at least 2, I ended up with 6 of these boxes and my hair turned very green. Will never buy these paints again."

Employees are kept there whether they screw up or not and many people have been sitting in the same position for ages which gets pretty frustrating as no one moves on and no one moves up...but corporate politics is everywhere, mostly management care only about the "budget" and their own image...,"

The Upper Level Management also berated former employee's in company meetings after they had left because the company did not treat them properly. Dianne Brickell says"Purchased 2 boxes of Wella Color Charm w/Developer and followed coloring instructions to a T. This product did not work at all. Tried it twice to make sure I was applying it correctly, which I was. Contacted customer support at Wella with receipt from Sally's and explained to them the situation. And they would NOT give a refund nor offer any type of reconciliation. Terrible customer experience. Cut-rate product. Wella did not take responsibility for this product. I will NEVER, EVER purchase from Wella again."
