Valrhona is a French premium chocolate manufacturer based in the small town of Tain-l'Hermitage in Hermitage, a wine-growing district near Lyon. It is now a subsidiary of Savencia Fromage & Dairy. The company was founded in 1922 by a French pastry chef, Albéric Guironnet, from the Rhône valley and has five subsidiaries and 60 local distributors across the globe. It is one of the leading producers of gastronomic chocolate in the world. The company also maintains the École du Grand Chocolat, a school for professional chefs with a focus on chocolate-based dishes and pastries.
Fariba was very upset as you can read on yelp.com, "They have the worse customer service. I ordered two items from Valrhona before Xmas. They only delivered one and sent me an email day after Xmas asking me to review their service and to tell me they didn't deliver the second item because they no longer carry the item. They never took it off their website and took my order online. I called them twice and left voicemails but they never called me back. I emailed them back and told them to send another item with a note to my customer and apologizing for their mistake, but instead of doing the right thing, they emailed me saying if I want to send another item to pay for it first through Paypal. They are beyond ridiculous they totally embarrassed me and they did not even have the courtesy to make it up and send it for free. I will never order from them ever again."
