Syntrus Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Achmea Holding N.V. is one of the largest suppliers of financial services (mainly insurance) in the Netherlands. The company was formed by a merger of Zilveren Kruis and Avéro Centraal Beheer Groep on January 1, 1995. The roots of Achmea date back to 1811 when the Frisian accountant, Ulbe Piers Draisma, founded the "Onderlinge Brand Assurantie Sociëteit (Achlum)" in Achlum, Frisia, the Netherlands. Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance is a direct subsidiary of Achmea.
A former employee mentioned, "Too much money gets wasted on not well thought through ideas and meetings. Deadlines are hardly ever meet. Too many people work there too long and are sometimes out of touch with reality.. It is too easy to hire external temporary staff because Achmea does not, yet know how to develop new skills or because senior management does not know how to really solve problems. The number of KPI's and other behaviour controls keeps rising. Achmea should try harder to develop people skills. Some senior Ego bosses oppose one another, instead of trying to collaborate in reaching shared goals & values. Too much politics involved."
