Former Employee - Logistics Coordinator says"It used to be so much better. Now it's a toxic environment. The new CEO (officially took over 1/1/2015) is very condescending and difficult to work with. Over the next few months SEVERAL higher ups left because he was horrible to deal with. The CEO even rejected some of their 2-week notices. "If you don't want to be here, we don't want you here. You have 2 days and you're gone.""
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"high turnover departments can stifle overall company success, compensation and benefits are lackluster relative to market."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"While worked there the Company seemed poorly managed. The mgmt had good ideas and would discuss with staff but nothing seemed to change - or changed very slowly. The industry was moving faster and Sunlink was left behind."
VP of Strategic Sourcing (Former Employee) says"Outside influences- tariffs- led the company to shut down. We were trying to insert an Operations mindset into a company of Sales and Engineering. I really believed it was a promising Green company, but steel was 95% of the solar trackers- they only had 18% margin prior to 25% tarriffs on overseas steel, and they were capital poor."
Logistics Specialist (Former Employee) says"Management was so new, and little training provided. Asked for training, and sessions were scheduled and then cancelled. Hiring manager has no logistics experience, and the entire management was too new. Cons: Too many meetings, and you cannot get your work done. Management is too new."
Electrician Technician / Inside Wireman (Former Employee) says"could have been better, drawings were ok, but engineering support was difficult at best. i would not recommend this job to people with children or families, travel is inconsistent at best."
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) says"Typical day performing patient relations clincal and clerical. I learned to alternate between two locations. Management was average and co-workers were great. The hardest part was learning to deal with drug addicted patients. The best part was when treatment worked. Cons: no significant problems."
Logistic Coordinator (Former Employee) says"Volume of work not well distributed, management with my participation was able to identify the problem in their supply chain and helped them allocate the resources."
Logistics Specialist (Current Employee) says"The management at this company is very "wipe their hands clean" type of managing. Appoints tasks to be done with no training or information. Does not follow up. Cons: Management"
