Sprungli Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Confiserie Sprüngli is a Swiss luxury confectionery manufacturer founded in 1836 and internationally known for its signature macarons called "Luxemburgerli".

"Poor selection, too crowded" says "Extraordinary179019" on a review of "Confiserie Sprüngli" on TripAdvisor in December 2019:

"Poor selection, too crowded

For a 59 CHF a pop brunch the selection was abysmally poor. It was crowded and the service was nonexistent. We circled the buffet, found bircher müsli in inviting plastic cans, rest of the food items poorly arranged too. I asked my wife, what do you think? she responded, "This sucks!". 118 CHF not wasted."

Tell the world why Sprungli sucks!

Former Employee - Retail Sales Merchandiser says

"No room for advancement, terrible management, poor communication"

Former Employee - Store Manager says

"We appreciate all feedback through Glassdoor, whether it be positive or an area for improvement. Your comments here are concerning and will be taken very seriously. However, I must stress that they fundamentally do not align with our company values, our policy of inclusion and diversity or depict the strong culture we have across our US retail stores. You indicated which store you worked in and we know that these concerns were not brought to our attention prior to you leaving. We always encourage employees to raise any issues they may have so we can work in partnership to address & resolve them. I still welcome that discussion, so if there are things that you would like to elaborate on, please feel free to call 603-778-8100 and ask for me directly."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I understand you are upset and know it can be very difficult to lose a job due to a department reorganization. This was one of those rare occasions when a department’s organizational structure needed to be changed to meet the current market and business demands. This decision was not taken lightly by our leaders—at all, and every effort was made to treat the few employees who were affected with the utmost dignity, respect and generosity. I wish you only the best as you transition to your new role and company. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me directly 603-778-3468."

Former Employee - Field Sales Representative says

"Brand Managers cannot grasp that selling in displays & product into accounts should be their job, not Field Reps. Incentives forced reps to 'dummy up' displays for photo ops. Did nothing to increase sales, as only used existing stock to put on displays. Major companies control their supply chain, not field reps. Major layoff of field reps has lowered morale."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I worked at Lindt for a year and a half and my manager showed clear bias towards me in every shift I was with her. I was so hurt and did not enjoy working there at all. The management is so strict and nonflexible about your shifts. I was always underpaid and had to write back to the manager to let her know that she input the wrong hours and I should get paid more. You would not want to work at a place, where you don't get paid. The Lindt website advertises all the cool benefits, but you don't really get anything. You can work at any other place and feel so much more better, physically, and mentally. Pls, don't work here!NothingLong hours, lot of labour, annoying customers, unfair management"

"Horrible culture within the company and retail. Top down you can see that there is immense favouritism in the company, and almost no diversity. Several people have been singled out for their orientation, body types,NoneEverything"

"It was a great company to work for before corporate lawyers and corporate greed sent them outsourcing our jobs to minimum wage third party. As of January 6, 2020 Lindt fired everyone working here in North America."

Addetta confezionamento alimentare (Former Employee) says

"Il lavoro puo risultare pesante ma mi piaceva . Il vero problema e essere assunti sotto cooperativa con contratti osceni buste paga sempre sbagliate e pagate male. Inoltre fabbrica gestita da incapaci. Che valutano una persona solo a simpatia e la responsabile del personale valuta in base a i regali per lei e la sorella capolinea. Pessime mai piu . Un vero peccato lasciare un azienda simile in mano a queste persone. Ci ho lavorato 5 anni e ne ho viste di tutti i colori. Me ne sono andataNessunoResponsabili incapaci"

Chocolate advisor (Former Employee) says

"Amazing chocolate- BAD company to work for. If you want to be treated unfairly, work all the hours under the sun (whilst management have perfect shifts that only apply to them- eg no late shifts and weekends off) and be spoken to like garbage- this is the company for you. Higher management also do not care, as long as they are taking the money!! Don't waste your time- trust me.Free chocolateCompany, management, unfairly treated"

Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I loved working there until they hired a new manager. This woman is an awful manager. She treated everyone unfairly. We called corporate human resources several times and they did nothing. The new manager got all the original employees when I worked there to quit doe to her terrible management. I will never recommend anyone to work there.DiscountManagement"

"Esperienza pessima..il lavoro di per sé non è male ma l'ambiente e chi pensa di comandarti valgono zeroNessunoQuasi tutti"

3rd Shift Stock Associate (Former Employee) says

"To much work for little pay. Manager was nasty and disrespectful. She was loud and cruel and made it a point to disregard employees feelings. I learned that money is the bottom line. The concerns of the people actually running the business doesn't count.noneco workers"

Vendedora (Former Employee) says

Comer y llevarte siempre chocolate a casa.Condiciones laborales, Gestión de tienda y rutinario."

Management Assistant (Former Employee) says

"Simply the worst place I worked for, nepotism, corrupted management and poisonous work atmosphere, if you want to live in peace stay away. No respect, no chance for advancement, human ressources nor managers respond to your e.mails.Medical and pension planPolitics, nepotism, corrupted management"

Shift Lead (Former Employee) says

"This company should have never opened a store in BC without any kind of management or district supervisor support in Western Canada. Processes were not in place, communication was terrible and there was no respect for any of the employees there"

Store Manager (Former Employee) says

"Dysfunctional management. Little or no real concern for employees. Managers look out for themselves. Poor communications. Huge turnover in managers. Micromanagement is the culture, but upper management takes no responsibility.401K, purchase discounts, insurance packageHorrible culture"

RETAIL STORE MANAGER (Former Employee) says

"You will be overworked and underpaid. Upper management is awful. Terrible turnover ratio even with corporate staff. You will regret working for Lindt."

Store Manager (Former Employee) says

"The company has a huge issue with manager retention, which speaks volumes to the work environment. In the past 4 years there have been over 100 new store managers hired to a company that just recently grew to 70 stores. One district has had 5 district managers in that same period, all of whom left on their own volition."
