"The bike itself is fairly decent. However, the handlebars are way to low, making the bike virtually unusable. Sent it back immediately."
Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"Would not recommend anyone to apply for this company.....very stressful and very poor management lots of partially.......no backbone for the operators.....it's like a prison and we are treated like little kids...... Cons: Too stressful"
Prep Line Attendant (Former Employee) says"Not for the career on the rise type. great to just pay the bills. Work place dull and strict. no team work just make your own numbers to receive that you where there.. Cons: no challenges"
Manager (Former Employee) says"Upper management old school. Racism and age discrimination exist in upper management. Not acceptable to change. Upper management will tell you what you want to hear."
Yarn layer (Former Employee) says"Management was very strict and clocked you like there was no tomorrow, very rude. The shift manager Malina does not know her place and does not know how to talk to people properly. They do not care about anything but money there. Terrible terrible terrible place to work. You can work your tail off and try your hardest there and they will still " lay you off " with no notice after you complete a full work day. The management there are rude they try to tell you how to run a machine but will never touch one. 1st shift is full of snitches and crybaby employees. Not an adult place to work. The machines are old and do notrun properly but they blame that on you not knowing how to run the machine properly. The yarn is always cut up or ripped so it always breaks in the machine . they blame that on you also. Cons: Stupid Management"
Spinning Operator (Former Employee) says"They dont care about over working their employees. They would fire people knowing it wasn't anyone to cover the work. Supervisors were not in control od their shift. It was alot of drama."
Machine Operator (Former Employee) says"Hard Work this is a good place to work at for the city of Whiteville. Working 3rd shift can be a hassle. Some days you are required to work over when everyone else can leave."
Machine Operator (Current Employee) says"You start off wit looking around the machine for broken or misguided parts. the you will start your day off feeding the machine yarn on to the stool. But they need more upper people"
Line Leader (Former Employee) says"Well my days stater at 5:30 getting to before the shift started at 6. I would go around my department and check for any items that was loow on the line or needed. then I would get in touch with the reiceveing manager to see the truck schedule. upon getting information on the arrival time of the trucks. kI then would go to my crew and give assignments on where they would start of working. We had gotten new managers in that where decent as far as manament. The nly thing I disdagreed with was the hiring polcy. And how she did things as far as the company. I liked the fact that their was a great open door policy. The only hard part about the job was training and dealing with the temps . What I liked most about my previous job was that I could use my expierences from other employers. which hlepped me land a lead position in under a year and material handler and recieveing expierence"
Machine Operator (Former Employee) says"Could have used better management, I feel that there was favoritism in the workplace. You could not go outside once you clocked in not even on your breaks or lunch. Cons: lunches to short"
Cashier/Customer Service (Current Employee) says"in this fast paced work environment I learnt it is better to help each other , rather than to stay on one thing the whole shift"
Machine Operator (Former Employee) says"I have worked at this place of employment twice. I actually enjoyed working here and made numerous friends while there. The plant was working at least 6 days a week. Cons: mandatory scheduled breaks"
Electrical Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says"What I like about the job you don't have someone watching you all the time. What I did not like about the job you had people that would not pull their share of job load and it would fall on you and it made job harder. I like team work it makes everyone job easer. let us do a job we all can be proud of ! Cons: poor working conditions ."
Machine opeater (Former Employee) says"You have to stay in line and do your job until break time and you have to pay for your food and than when break over you have to get back in line and stay until 7 at night"
Machine Operator (Former Employee) says"My job duties were to operate two machine at the same time, and also the product has to me its mark. I also packed and help others that were behind on there production. I would work in place for others and i always did overtime. Make sure the machines around my area were clean and making sure that I report any problems with any machine. Even thought we had technical but I fix everything on my machine due to the tech on my shift had an attitude, but I was willing to work. Cons: healthcare, breaks"
Assembly Line Worker (Former Employee) says"I was not there long. But was a nice place to work. Great summer time job. Cons: n/a"
Yarn plant (Former Employee) says"Work was fast but not stressful. A fun place to work. All the employees work together as a team and got the job done. The managers were willing to work with us when we needed to be out."
