Quickset Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Kwikset is an American lock and lockset manufacturer owned by Spectrum Brands Hardware and Home Improvement Group (HHI), a Division of Spectrum Brands. Originally Gateway Manufacturing Company, Kwikset founded in California in 1946 by Adolf Schoepe and Karl Rhinehart. The current name for the company was derived from the company's first locks, which pioneered the then-revolutionary tubular lock design, which was relatively fast to install. Kwikset key blanks (KW1, Ilco 1176, Axxess 66) are available at almost every location where keys can be made.

A user "Alina Bradford" recounts her experience using a Kwikset smart lock on the "Digital trends" website on February 28, 2020:

"Must replace your deadbolt Poor installation experience The touchpad is a hassle"

"Avoid working for this place... only come if you have to work here over being homeless 16 hour work days and mandatory overtime on Saturday. Also, bosses are undereducated, people are promoted based on connections not knowledge"

"Senior management is not in touch with day to day operation, except the bottom line. They don't give support for new ideas."
