Pepe Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Pepe Jeans London is a denim and casual wear jeans brand established in the Portobello Road area of London in 1973, and now based in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Spain.

An angry customer said this in a review "Absolutely awful. I ordered 8 items at Pepe Jeans London & recurved 4 with no invoice. I’m out of pocket by £156 for the missing items. I emailed 4 times & called. No one responded to my emails & the customer services agent just said someone will call me back. I’ve had no phone all. I am also trying to return an item that is too small but can’t. I will never order from them again. I’ve had to raise a dispute through PayPal so I hope they can help or I’ll be going to trading standards".

Manager (Former Employee) says

"If you are not one their useless general managers they could care less about about you. Most loyal and talented people all leave, and once you leave no matter what they will find a way not to pay what they owe you. Anything to save a buck."

What Does it Matter (Former Employee) says

"Will let you go in a heartbeat for no good reason whether you were an employee for two months or two decades. Absolutely no sense of loyalty to a dedicated and trustworthy long term employee!"

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Look elsewhere for your own good. They are unable to understand a plan and keep to it. Internal competition among family favorites hinders growth and profitability. Cons: They need it to attract talent"

General Manager/Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"Will let you go in a heartbeat for no good reason. Whether you were an employee for two months or two decades you are considered disposable. No sense of loyalty to a trusted and hardworking long term employee. Gone in 60 seconds. Shame on Pepe Auto Group!!"

Customer Service Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"Big turn around at this job, let people go constantly, always reorganizing ."

General Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"Pay was great at the beginning, then the General Manager started playing around with the pay plan. He had no idea what he was doing and was always calling around the group for advice. Cons: Terrible General Manager"

Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"Awesome place to work initially. Business dried up and everything changed."

Business Development Representative (Current Employee) says

"Management has favorite employees and ignores/ has attitude towards the non favorites. Does not listen to the employee on problems that are occurring."

Sales (Former Employee) says

"Overall good company culture as the ownership is all about their reputation etc. However Sub Par management especially at the Cadillac store which is apparently their least monitored of the group. Power crazed Frat Brother style GM with a copycat sales manager willing to please him even if it means carrying out juvenile pranks during the work day that embarrasses everyone involved, even himself, lol. Clean, modern facilities though. Cons: Inequality"

Parts Manager (Former Employee) says

"To suckcede at the Pepe auto group you have to suck up to the higher ups or be gone. Good pay but most of it goes to medical coverage. Better hope your spouse has a good plan and likes to be lonely because of the long hours you work to make that salary."

Former Employee - Executive Assistant says

"I worked at Pepe Auto Group full-time for more than a year Cons: Overall atmosphere does not promote unity within the organization. Management as a whole not transparent or trustworthy."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Pepe Auto Group full-time Cons: I walked into Pepe Auto excited for my first day of work and encountered some unfortunate hurdles VERY quickly. First thing I was told was to consult with my direct report in the event an executive member of the team asks for anything "questionable", stating that she should know better but just in case to call him and ask. Red flag one. Second red flag I encountered was the same member of executive management team belittling me in front of a colleague about how I wore a CLEAR nose retainer because I have a piercing and "should've known better having read the handbook and asking my direct report about it". Hence, why I wore the CLEAR retainer, so not to walk around with a gaping hole in my face. She went on about that for several minutes and finally let up. Next, I went to a meeting. On my way back, the same executive spoke to me about one of the employees who she knew was a personal friend of mine and had referred me for the position. She was discussing his personal life and his relationships with other employees while making comments about how he was a "player" and also discussing with me how much pot her son and friends smoke. I went about my first day and upon returning to work the following day, about an hour into my shift, I was terminated for being disrespectful enough to come in knowing I should not have been wearing a retainer in my nose. My direct report didn't even come speak to himself but rather sent the same executive who belittled me and gossiped to me previously, to whom I have no reporting responsibility. She also implied that I wasn't "on their level" and they were up here (as she indicated with a hand gesture) and I was down here. Upon my return home, I emailed my actual direct report to discuss and he couldn't even return an email. This review was left as a result of the unprofessionalism I experienced. Not to mention, we had discussed this in the interview - never terminate someone without a witness. I have never been so insulted by a "professional" C-level executive in my life (and I use that term loosely). You have lost several customers as a result of the mistreatment I experienced here."

"I worked at Pepe Auto Group full-time for more than a year Cons: Poor management, poor communication, little to no room for growth. Managers hold a tight circle and can do no wrong here. I was let go with no notice."

BDC Representative says

"I worked at Pepe Auto Group Cons: I never got an official tour/welcome my several months of working here, which should’ve told me all I needed to know. I literally only knew the people I passed by in daily basis— IF THAT. TERRIBLE communication between dealerships and call center. Hell.. even in your own department. Service Advisers don’t fulfill their job expectations OFTEN so the angry/aggressive customers have to be soothed and calmed down from call center reps who aren’t even qualified/trained to deal with them. General managers can never be reached. Service advisers literally and quite purposefully ignore call center reps, making your job way harder than needed; their service managers will blame any and everything on BDC managers or reps. Their training is all over the place setting you up for failure. There’s no designated training manager so they have other reps train you, but you’ll come to find NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. There’s only a couple, if not 1 person in this department who has actually been there more than a year which says A LOT. Half of the policies they try to enforce for a better customer service experience, the customers themselves hate. You will get comments about how you greet people, and sound like robot very often. I thought these concerns were normal given the industry/size of company.. but, NO! I now work for a Fortune 500 company that’s the complete opposite. Pepe’s work environment and most employees work ethic makes it awfully hard to stay sane and take care of customers the way they deserve!"

Milan says

"Pepe Jeans has very poor quality. This was the first time I have ever bought something from this brand. One pair of trainers started to fall apart after the first use... I have sent an email 3 weeks ago regarding this issue. You can guess the outcome... NOTHING happened ever since. Luckily, I paid half of the original price as the trainer was on sale. I have lost money and now it is clear that the company is a piece of crap... Technically this company is a fraud, and I am even polite when I say this... AVOID this brand at any cost"

Max Allen says

"Awful customer service, I returned two shirts and after several phone calls and ignored emails im still owed £60 with no sign of getting it back. DO NOT USE."

Anoniem says

"TERRIBLE service Received a damage product. Ordered it during sale, the return process is terribly slow and inconvenient and I could only order a whole new product but of course, it's not on sale anymore."
