From Everything.Sucks

Newsmax or, previously styled NewsMax, is an American news and opinion website founded by Christopher Ruddy and operated by Newsmax Media. The website is divided into four main sections: Newsmax, Newsmax Health, Newsmax Finance, and Newsmax World, each divided into various subsections. Timothy H. mentioned, "Fake news. Liars not interested in reporting true facts. They have their own liberal agenda. An ad on the radio asked listeners to text virus to xxxxx. I was taken to a Newsmax TV survey. After i made my selections i pressed submit and nothing happened. This survey is bogus or fake news."

customer service representative (Former Employee) says

"Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Micro-management! All the supervisor's and manager's had their favorites and if they didn't like you they sure would let you know it by being snobby and very rude. This place is ran by a bunch of 20 something's kids that haven't even got a clue as to how to properly manage a call center. Constantly gossiping instead of actually doing any work. And no room for growth with this place, not to mention the pay, you will never get a raise. Word of advice.....avoid this company like the drinks and snacksmicro management. no room for growth. so called team players."

Sr Web Developer (Current Employee) says

"Very poor management. Every few weeks i would see them let people go, then hire new the following week. It was the worst environment to be in. Very stressful wondering if you were next to be let go."

Cameraman (Former Employee) says

"The workplace culture at this establishment has been very draining and not very friendly. I learned what to expect from the ownership of this company. Not much!"

Sales Rep (Former Employee) says

"Newsmax can be a great company to work for. However, it begins with the leadership team. Lacking management and leadership skills can and has impacted the productivity of the company. No consistency!"

Customer Service Specialist (Current Employee) says

"Did not like working here. They charge customer credit cards without authorization."

Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"The company is ok. Owner micro-manages everyone and everything. Editorial department unsociable. Sales department personnel are more sociable and inviting. Everyone fears the owner. Thinking outside the box is not accepted. Your opinion matters nothing.have free snackstreated as a tool"

Graphic Designer (Former Employee) says

"From bad to worse. Used to be a thriving place, if you could stand their politics. Now it keeps shrinking. They have a fantasy of being a TV power, and are cutting everywhere else. Employees are robots to CEO."

Business Development Manager (Former Employee) says

"This is a company that nothing will get done unless the CEO approves of it, which most likely he won't. 0 communication, very empty office, and lots of layoffs. Unfortunately all the talented people here end up leaving. Great coffee, some nice fruits and good drinks."

Graphic Designer/Production Artist (Current Employee) says

"Decent place to work, but haphazard management with no long-term plans make it a challenge that seems to vary from week-to-week. Solid pay and some promotion opportunities, but not many."

CUSTOMER SERVICE (Former Employee) says

"Most Managers in Customer Service were less qualified than the Service Representatives. High turnover rate. Promotions were never based on experience and qualifications. Business practices regarding subscriptions were not handled in the most ethical manner. In the last year due to the Company's restructuring to acquire Newsmax TV, a lot of employees were laid off/fired. Well, the Newsmax TV is new, so maybe after the dust settles from the growth spur, I imagine there should be new work opportunities.Good work/life balanceJobs were created with specific people in mind, but I've heard that this is normal business practice for many Companies."

Customer Service Representative/E-Team (Current Employee) says

"The best part of this job is the amazing co-workers you have who are always helping each other as well as having fun."

Accounts Receivable Clerk (Former Employee) says

"It was nice to meet well known politicians up close and personal. I enjoyed working with the sales team especially and they were all very particular with how they wanted their agreements processed. My co-workers were easy to work with and the atmosphere was overall pleasant."

Travel Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"Focus on developing TV station Looking for high profile guests in conservative politics and compete with existing conservative market . Identifies as independent"

Lead Trainer (Former Employee) says

"Decent atmosphere for a call center, fairly relaxed environment and average advancement opportunities. Good benefits and PTO available, as well as a decent variety of departments available. It was a growing company.Free snacksLimited growth options available at the time"

inside sales (Former Employee) says

"They call it a call center but in reality you are calling people off a list who did not renew their magazine subscription. You receive no training on the computer and that would have been nice to have it. Your boss likes to watch NBA basketball on TV or other shows instead of doing his job. Most of the people you call are in their 70's who have not renewed their membership and you call the same list 3 days in a row?? The catch is they offer them free trials of additional newsletters hoping at there age they will forget so they won't cancel. When you offer 1 free off and they say no management gets upset because you did not offer the other. Management says don't break rapport but yet want you to push clients to renew. I see that as taking advantage of people. They have no integrity & con older people and management only cares about $$$ not reputation. Management plays favourites and that is very obvious. If they like you then you get better lists to call. This way its easier to discriminate. If your part time like I was they can make you look bad if they want. This is not a sales room because you can not establish value since they did not renew. Plus they never remove your name from a do not call list snacks and sodadiscrimination by management"

Executive Producer (Former Employee) says

"Worked at Newsmax for four years and enjoyed it. I’m proud of the work my team and I accomplished. I would consider working there again if the right opportunity presented itself. I have been impressed with the growth The people who worked thereHigh turnover"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"This job was the usual customer service call center. There was always OT when needed. There was a set 10am to 7pm schedule but could be added to on the front or back side to fit my schedule."

Associate Producer/Segment Producer (Current Employee) says

"Not a bad place to work. Some bad management but great coworkers. The hardest part is there is no thinking ahead, and the company does not have the resources to succeed."

Warehouse Assistant Manager (Former Employee) says

"The company has great benefits. Management is very encouraging. i met some good people while i was working for NewsMax. The CEO is very good and i approve him. The benefits are great."

Marketing (Former Employee) says

"The marketing department, and company as a whole, is quite chaotic. Each worker has multiple roles outside of his or her job description, making work never-ending. Pay and benefits are fair for corporate employees. The hardest part of the job is having great, rapid-fire answers and insights when questioned by the CEO regarding a project or a task, as well as the fear of being fired for personal reasons rather than under performance. The best part of the job is the camaraderie of the employees. However, the top level managers are disillusioned and not very helpful toward their employees.Excellent employeesBad upper management"

Greg says

"You all just screwed up big-time! You are no better than mainstream media! "

Rita Warde says

"FYI... Opinions, conspiracy theories and factious stories is not “news” !!! 🇺🇸"

Sean H. says

"Newmax is just another group of talking heads pretending to be journalists that have no interest in facts, in free speech, or in the open market of ideas that conservatives and working class Americans believe in. Case in point: Mike Sellers, showed the network’s true makeup and convictions when he cowardly crumbled in the interview with Mike Lindell. He knew when addressing Mike Lindell that Lindell’s convictions would be a necessary point of exposition. He knew that assertion of Lindell that fraudulent activities had occurred before, on, and after the November 3rd presidential election. So Sellers tried to censor Lindell’s opinion by trying to shut him down. There fore the whole interview appeared as an apparent set up because why would you have a guest like Mike Lindell on your network and not expect him not to talk about why he was censored by his account deletion on social media. The election irregularities are a topic in which tens of millions of Americans (if not 100 million or more) clearly believe statistically impossible voter ballot tally surges occurred, that never before seen shut downs in ballot counting occurred the night of the election in several swing states and when the tallying restarted many hours later Biden had miraculously taken the vote lead, that bipartisan ballot verification observers were not allowed to observe and contest suspect ballots in the most disputed voter districts where Biden had an unprecedented and statistically impossible surge, that various voting districts did not verify signatures required by law and did not verify the post mark date required by law. I will never watch Newmax again. May you join Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC in you downward spiral into the toilet boil and onward into sewer of oblivion where you belong."

reddug says

"Shutting down Mike Lindell was despicable. Will never watch Newsmax."

Dennis Trump says

"These assholes are all about a republican party that does nothing."

SWankaw says

"NewsMax was a great alternative to Fox News until they wimped out after being sued by Dominion. When they decide to Nut-Up I will watch NewsMax again."

Laurence Warren says

"FALSE facts, It’s just another Fake news station"

Kim Harvey says

"This has become the new dem-flip channel. They spew more dem BS. Can't trust these guys either. I came over from POS Fox but now I can't listen to this sh#t either"

Caelan Broussard says

"This is a conservative conspiracy theorist's wet dream. If you want to deny reality and live in a world that hasn't accepted the election, then please come here."

Matt says

"Not a true conservative magazine or company. It sells junk China made weather band radios for $2.99. Not worth the price. Should be a 25¢ radio. Only one FM radio station comes in well."

Phyls Rod says

"Do not like nicole want to hear Republicans only... not sure of the name but she's a democratic strategist"

Marilyn says

"Just turned away from newsmax to OAN AMERICA NEWS. We Please stop reporting polls from Fox on your ticker as this will take away your customers and viewers. You have been reporting a lot of what they have to say and report. If you want to grow you should watch that information from them. Frank Luntz is in the pocket for the Democrats as the owners and of all of the other reporters they have!"
