Federal prosecutors in Philadelphia said the scheme involved Remington clients who had hoped to secure development loans for construction projects. Over the years, McManus had arranged financing for some of the largest projects in the area, prosecutors said. McManus, 46, of Glenside, Pa., was convicted at trial on February 19 while all of his co-defendants pleaded guilty."
