Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at King & Wood Mallesons full-time Cons: - Poor leadership and teamwork by partners - Partners can’t land clients and generate business for the firm - Low quality legal work - Below market pay - No overtime pay for non-exempt personnel even though the firm forces them to work longer hours than attorneys"
Former Employee - Senior Associate says"I worked at King & Wood Mallesons full-time for less than a year Cons: It has to be the most worst run top tier law firm I have ever seen. I’ve worked in a number of other law firms and they have proper processes in place from systems to precedents but kwm is all over the place. No proper support and they treat their employees like animals. It’s quite sad. If you want to kill yourself for nothing then I recommend joining kwm. They do this because they are scared of the market and are always on the back foot to try and catch up to the other five. Their partners are losing touch with the general counsels from clients so losing a fair bit of money."

No one worked together, each team for themselves and the support team just running around trying to please those who shout the loudest,"

No Growth - I have been working for 3 years now and expect me to do everything and I deliver but when I ask for promise growth they turn their back. HR - Never comes in between to help the employees. I don't understand why they exist."
