"Bad management , very poor communication among upper management. Too many bad choices of employees with terrible attitudes and attendance .long hours without breaks, constantly having to run two or three stations on both shifts."

"Working at the Tilted kilt as both a bartender and a server I would not recommend working at the tilted kilt for many reasons but the biggest ones being the degrading comments and lack of communication between the three day to day managers. The hostility in the work place is shocking. The drama between girls, they allow the girls to bully one another, as well as the communication between management is non existent. Cons: Drama, poor management"

"I am glad I have the job. It came at a time where I needed work and wasn't finding it. The restaurant specializes in bar food with a few Irish-themed items to stay somewhat aligned with the theme. The downside of all that is the management does not seem interested in keeping the staff at least somewhat happy. They promise hours and then cut those hours whenever they feel like it."

"I cannot believe how terrible people treat others. It's like the store was always filled up with nothing but crabby people, maybe its just Jacksonville. but we also had girls intentionally not wearing undergarments to make "extra money" It was a very gross and twisted environment. I'm glad the company has gone under. Cons: terrible quality of employees... no one really cares about their job."

"The real you into this place with all these GREAT PROMISES and how they are all FAMILY and they REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES!! Lol on that note! Working there was just a bunch of guys standing around on their phones and hiding from managers then when managers came back to check on everything the guys tried to make them think they had been busting their butts and the managers would let them know THEY WERE DOING A GREAT JOB! They do not care if they loose ppl or not. I was told as long as we have a warm body in the spot we will make it through the day! Cons: Everything BAD"

"The one I worked at closed down. I would never work at a place like this. Managers did not care if someone was harassing you and they never made you feel comfortable."

"Basically can be summed up with very poor managemnent. I was told by one of my tables that another one of the servers were talking trash about me to them when brought up to the manager he told me he didn’t think she would do that. I asked him if he wanted to go ask my table and he just said no he wouldn’t ask the table. I told another employee I wasn’t happy with the way things were going there. She immediately went to him and told him he brought me Into the office and said you don’t like working here? Well you’re fired. And the bartender followed me to the dressing room and watched and waited while I changed out of their outfit to hand it back to them(even though it was an outfit I paid 100 for) and took them over 3 months of me calling and hounding them before they would give me the money back for the outfit. Also the pain from serving for 10 hrs in 2 inch heels is unimaginable. It’s unfortunate for the franchisees the kind of management the tilted kilt brand chose, the reason for the company going into the gutter. Cons: Management is the worst, long hours, don’t care about employees feelings at all"

"Think twice before working for Tilted Kilt. So many of their locations have closed down recently. Poor management, I worked for them for 5 years and have seen the business just slow down completely. Cons: No money to be made"

"High turnover rate, managers are always moody, not ever praised for a job well done. Fire many associates quickly. Food and drinks are rather expensive. The only busy days are on Thursday nights for Latin Night. Other than that, the restaurant is never busy. Cons: Never given hours, unfair work practices"

"The customers at TK were some of the best, however the management was awful. They played favorites, so if you didn't go out and party with the female managers or let the male manager sexually harass you, you got the worst table sections, sent home early, or belittled."

"The owner of the San Antonio pub does not follow through on any of his promises. They have had 11 managers quit in the last 6 months. That should tell you something right there. Cons: Too Many to list"

"My typical day at work involved of receiving requests all throughout my shift, even right before I was going to clock out. My section was always full and some of my guests knew that it was a fun environment Cons: the younger girls got more attention by the general manager, little to no advancement, some girls were treated differently because they were the favorites, the gm would make sexist and racist remarks, the company wouldn't allow different shifts to attend classes to become trainers"

"Franchisee is letting the restaurant be run by her personal friend who is running it into the ground. Absolutely the worst company I've had the displeasure of working for. They have been through several GMs and AGMs and haven't been open for business but a year if even that long. Horrible food, and can't pass inspections. I advise anyone who is thinking about working for or even going to eat at Tilted Kilt in Midland, TX to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction! Don't do it! Cons: Everything"

"Morning started at 6am and would work somedays 18 hrs, 7 days a week. Over a 115 hour work weeks. Daily routine would be training, ordering, planning, cooking and overseeing all operations in the back of the house. With not being able to function under those conditions I left the Tilted Kilt. Cons: no breaks, 115+ hour work weeks, 7 days a week"

Myself and another girl got fired in the same month for being pregnant after they tried to get me to quit. Court hearing is on March 3rd, its a class action suit. Their lawyers never responded after 2 years so... This should go well."

"I have been working at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery part-time for less than a year Cons: It's VERY slow at the Downtown Phoenix location when there aren't any events in the area (which is often in some months). Management is terrible. They enforce a lot of double standards when they feel like it. Some girls get punished for things that other girls do all the time. There has been a lot of employee turnover lately due to the way managers treat us and now that we are understaffed, they are kissing up to us which leads some employees to take advantage of them."

"I worked at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery full-time for more than a year Cons: Not being able to get any new tattoos or color my hair. (Even though there's girls hired with sleeves and huge pieces on their sides & thighs). Always have to be "Stage Ready", or they'll tell you to make yourself look better... Constantly being asked to work doubles in order to cover girls that would frequently call off. Being scheduled doubles constantly because the turn around rate is so high there were hardly enough girls. The outfits felt a little sleezy after awhile. Even when I felt uncomfortable around certain guests that would come in, I was told to suck it up. ( These guests would make very crude comments & it's very hard for me to find something inappropriate). On & off seasons in the serving industry which means not a lot of pay sometimes."

Even if you work there for six years, if you're not favorite, don't expect any promotions to management. In fact, unless you are a favorite, do not expect much of anything from management. TK is good for some quick money, but I do not recommend sticking around if you have long term goals in the industry."

"I worked at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery Cons: Taking the job means understanding that you will be degraded on a nightly basis. Servers and hostesses wear bra tops and tiny miniskirts...so yeah... expect people to disrespect you. The restaurant is disorganized and is led by a few marginally qualified restaurants."

"I worked at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery part-time for less than a year Cons: -Female servers have to put up with creepy men, and are encouraged to sit at their tables and flirt, as well as pose for pictures with them -Hearing sexually degrading remarks or being touched are common occurrances every shift -No security guard is on the premises, and there will be no intervention from management when guests are inappropriate with girls -Head office facillitates stalking by forcing girls to advertise their next few shifts to customers on take out containers and business cards -They hire a lot of girls strictly based on appearance who don't do their side work, don't bus or even run their food -They will give you maximum three shifts a week -Lining up before every shift to have your appearance carefully examined and scrutinized by a male manager is kind of demeaning"
