Icomfort Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Serta is an American company based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois that specializes in developing and manufacturing mattresses. It was founded in 1931 in Illinois as Sleeper, Inc. by 13 mattress manufacturers who licensed the Serta name; subsequently eight independent licensees acting like a cooperative owned the company. Afterwards, it was controlled and operated as Serta International. With iComfort, multi-layered mattress-cooling foam technology adds support, resilience, and temperature regulation for the coolest, most comfortable sleep ever.

Christine angrily mentioned, "Purchased an iComfort-Applause II King mattress and split box spring. It was ok for the first 6 months, then support degrades after that. I suffer from back pain so the i-Comfort Hybrid series in firm Fundamental model seemed like an ideal replacement for my 10-year-old inner spring Sealy mattress. Eventually you'll sink into a hole as the memory foam upper doesn't hold up. My partner and I now have a 'hill' down the middle of the mattress that limits your sleeping space to your own body cavity hole. I had Raymour & Flanigan's inspector come out used their measuring tools to come to the conclusion that the bed is not defective and is within the warranty allowances. Yet I continue to sleep in my confined hole and am now considering taking this POS to the dump and eating a good amount of money. I spent $1,650 on this set and it's barely a year old. Don't fall for the 100-day satisfaction sleep guarantee because 100 days is not nearly enough time to give a true assessment. I'll never buy another Serta Mattress since they obviously don't care to stand behind their claims that i-Comfort Series is revolutionary and is worth the good money I paid for it."

Matt Builder (Former Employee) says

"This company pays very low for basically slave labor, running around a table all day building mattresses tripping over your air hoses constantly because they were laying on the ground instead of being set up on a suspended system so the lines can be off the floor, which this is an obvious OSHA non compliance and an injury hazard. you never knew exactly how long you were working if the had a big order to be filled you worked 14 hour days with very little breaks. Which by workers rights laws is a violation there should be sufficient break times for the hard labor and hot conditions they had us work under.nothing"
