I had an awful experience with their car rental company AddCar in Bulgaria. I missed my flight, which was my fault although the flight did leave 10 minutes early which seems misleading and unprofessional.

When I called the company to inform them I would be late they said oh that's fine we'll have your car here for you when you get hear or we'll sort you out with another one.

When I turned up after having to pay for another flight out from Stansted there was a person at his window arguing and demanding that they were trying to cheat him before he even started with me. He denied all knowledge of me or my booking even existing until I was able to show them the email with their logo on it!

Then they said oh yeah we cancelled that one so you will need to get a refund. I said I don't want a refund I just want to use that money and have the car I paid for.

He just didn't want to do it and kept saying if you fill out this form and sign it then get the refund from EasyJet later we can sort you out with another car which I assume I would have to pay for right. I said I don't want another car or a refund I just want to use the money I have already paid to use the car for the month I have paid for. They then handed me a form which was needed for the refund. The form was basically asking me to sign and accept that they cancelled the booking because I was 11 hours late for the car and I'm happy with that.

So on the form I wrote the fact that I phoned them before and said that I can't make it and they said that was fine and they would sort me out with a car anyway which is the truth of it. He read it and translated it on his phone and when he realised that it meant that he was to blame and not me he just looked at me and ripped it up. He is basically is stealing my money in that moment.

I've contacted EasyJet for a refund and they have basically said and done the same over email. You were late so that means we cancel the car and any refund for the whole month!!

So no, not a good experience at all and quite frankly they are using con men to help them steal peoples money."

"I reported on Trust Pilot last July that because of easyJet totally ignoring my repeated email requests for refund of the costs of 3 flights they cancelled, plus the return of airport taxes on a flight which we opted not to take, I was issuing a claim against easyJet in the Small Claims Court. I suggested that the many easyJet punters who reported on this website that they were spending a vast amount of time and money on phone calls in a vain attempt to get through to their so-called customer service to discuss their refunds, get off the phone and, where appropriate, issue a similar online claim through the Small Claims Court. The procedure is simple and effective, and the cost is only £25, payable by the losing party. EasyJet admitted owing me for 3 of the 4 claims , and tne one disputed claim was settled by my acceptance of a credit voucher for a flight which I was planning to take anyway. I am pleased to say that I now have easyJet's payment in full, including my court costs of £25, I mentioned in my claim to the Court that I have every admiration for the airline, which for many years has provided safe flights at low cost, and I was reuctant to take them to Court at a difficult time. However my respect for them was sorely diminished by the total inefficiency of their customer service department."

On 14/08/20 I received an email from Easyjet offering a voucher should I wish to dealy my flight due to these new restrictions. I accepted the offer with the instruction to wait 28 days before follow-up should the voucher not arrive. It has not. Today, 24/09/20, I eventually got through to customer support who have no record of their email to me or my acceptance of the voucher! Easyjet. Fraudsters!"
