Dover Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Dover Corporation is an American conglomerate manufacturer of industrial products. Founded in 1955 in New York City, Dover is now based in Downers Grove, Illinois, and employs more than 26,000 people worldwide.Dover's business is divided into three segments; Engineered Systems, Fluids, and Refrigeration & Food Equipment. Each segment holds operating companies that are run like independent companies. Dover is a constituent of the S&P 500 index and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under "DOV". Dover is ranked 360th on the Fortune 500. The company relocated its headquarters to Illinois from New York in mid-2010.

A upset former employee said this in a review about management "So many people have left Dover and all because of a plant manager who is horrible in every aspect and completely out of his league. He doesn’t know anything about manufacturing and wants to make sure the people he hires are just as dumb. This company hires people who are on expired work permits...LOL!!! The HR dept is oblivious and unprofessional."

"Worst Customer Service Ever! Waited over 2.5 weeks for any update on my order and when I finally got a hold of them (through Instagram since they werent answering Facebook, Website, Email, or Telephone) they informed me that oops your order was out of stock. 8 days later and I still havent received the refund for the item that was out of stock. No joke this is the worst customer service I have experienced in 15 years of shopping online on any website. Avoid this site like the plague."

"I purchase a pair of Nike Black Comme Des Garcon from Dover Street Market New York. It comes with a missing carton insole on the left shoe and the Nike brand tag on the right shoe is dirty, even though it is a brand new shoe. The package is messy and the Black tag is written in Chinese which I doubt they send me a fake pair. 100% I waste $120, this is unbelievably disappointing. I sent several emails to them but no response. Worst customer services ever."

"So, I bought a pair of heeled Prada sandals for my wedding next week. The sandals are bought through Farfetch and shipped from Dover Street market in London. Everything went smooth until I received the sandals. I paid 565 GBP for the shoes and they look used. The sole is scratched, the leather inside is dirty and you can even see where the toes has been. Farfetch offered me a 10 % discount or a return and a 20 GBP discount code.Dover Street Marked refused to help me because they were bought elsewhere. It is the last pair and I need them for my wedding; however I feel stupid paying full price for a pair of used sandals. I would expect a better deal and I'm really disappointed that Dover Street marked even shipped the shoes."

"They messed up a release and changed the product name and images AFTER I've placed an order, so now my order invoice doesn't match the item I actually ordered. It is absolutely ludacris that they did that. And then they didn't respond to any of my emails and phone calls, then proceed to send me a completely wrong pair of shoes and refuse to apologise or fix the problem. The shoes are sold out everywhere now and I don't have them because they fked up a simple order. The service is absolutely horrendous DO NOT waste your time and money on them seriously."
