Campingaz Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Campingaz, formerly Camping Gaz, is a brand of compressed, mixed butane/propane gas supplied in small, lightweight, disposable canisters and larger, refillable cylinders designed for use as a fuel while camping and caravanning. The fuel gas is compressed to a liquid and sold in characteristic blue metal containers. The brand name is also used on appliances manufactured for use with the gas: cookers, lanterns, heaters, grills, refrigerators, etc. as well as more general camping equipment such as sleeping bags.
Chris mentioned in a review, "Bought this Campingaz chefs folding double burner stove and grill, as our double burner stove doesn't have a grill. I don't know why we bothered! Be warned this grill is useless - pathetically small and most of the heat (and flames- be warned if you have children! ) come out of the top. We ended up toasting ours with a fork on the top. It is flimsy and poorly made and the piezo lighter stopped working after one use."

steve bladon says"Poor spares service, no reply from the customer service. Party grill 200. I have a critical failure of a component that left gas pooring out of the attached cylinder with no method to turn it off due to the component failure. The plastic threaded coupler connecting the gas valve to the burner has failed after 2 or 3 years use. Use being one or two camping trips a year if I'm lucky. Do yourself a favour and by a Cadac if you value you safety."
Luke says"I was bought the Campingaz 400 SG Double Burner and Grill for my birthday last month (june 2019). The product looks great out the box, but the quality unfortunately doesnt continue through this product. I have used it one, the front latch looks and feels as if its about to fall off and barely holds the burners shut properly. When first opened, one of the burners was at a 45 degree angle and wouldnt light. Gentle persuasion back into right position and works fine, but neither burner like to ignite easily at all. First use experience was great to cook on and boil kettles etc, but both burners are a bit wobbly, and general feel overall feels that perhaps this product wont last as well as the previous models. I took to a more expensive type with new burner style after borrowing a friends very old campingaz equivalent which still works great, but feel mine will not last the length of time theirs have. Its still a great product, and obviously only used once, but have a busy couple of months of camping coming up , so will reassess at the end of summer"
