The company was founded in 1952 by Francis Bouygues and since 1989 has been led by his son Martin Bouygues.

A former employee shares his experience on, "Bouygues is a terrible company. Not only do they treat staff badly, they cut corners in all aspects of construction. Everything they have built suffers from a prolonged series of defects, that are rarely rectified."

"The manager there doesn't care if her people are trained properly. Even when you ask for more help she doesn't get it for you. Just so she can get rid of you after your probation. She came from the City of Winnipeg and I hear horrible things about her from there as well."

Please ask for yourself, in fact do a review with everyone that works for them on a non manager position and see how much even the floor staff genuinly hate this company and the idiots that run the hospital here. "well what can i say, in truth i can only speak about this very small sector of BG, which was clearly thrown together to fill a shortfall when Carillion crash out, that said it really does look wile it was a last minute scramble to grab some PFI money . the management was absolutely terrible, very little knowledge of FM and its responsibility's, zero training opportunities, zero support, hardly anyone lasted more than a few months in the señor roles (inc HR) the only staff clinging on to jobs are unemployable elsewhere!!! i witnessed bullying and intimidation of staff from cleaners to managers, and lack of adherence to H&S issues once there were made awere of them. all and all after over 25 years of FM on the floor and in managerial roles i can honestly say this company is the worst across the bored i have ever seen and will hopefully not be around much longer...nonelong, hours, bad management, no training, no support"

"unrealistic work loads and an impossible SAP purchase ledger system to use. Management refuse to accept your work load is unmanageable, their response is you will just have to get it done quicker. The heating in the Brighton office is year round set to tropical and half hour lunch break is barely long enough to walk to a shop to buy your lunch and get back, let alone eat it. Having worked in similar roles for many different companies I am well qualified to assess an unworkable work load and having used a wide variety of purchase ledger systems, this is hands down the worst I have ever used.Locationbad systems unrealistic work loads"

They (their recruitment staff) would contact you via email only to probe ones details basically pretending as if they are working on the case so to justify their lazy staff work ( they have to look busy in the eyes of their boss) so they kind of make up some cases but no real follow ups.lies"

"Pretty much same experience as majority of the previous reviews. Globally a generally good company, just seems to have the wrong group of people running it locally. Sop's are out dated and in some cases not even relevant. Management loves to change policies on the fly or as it suits them. No manager at this site remotely has a clue as to how a unionized site is or should be run. Turnover rate is second to none which adds to the chaos. There is absolutely no coaching and training is minimal. Communication between management and employees is minimal. There is a bad atmosphere created by management. Avoid, besides a good pay cheque not worth any one's time.paychequeunqualified management, lack of training, unethical treatment of employees"

"This company has one of the worst reputation period. Management is indeed incompetent in their actions and treat all their staff horribly from the housekeeping, help desk, and technicians. There is no synergy in terms of working together and instead there is always the finger pointing of "who to blame when something goes wrong". The morale is low between staff and at times coworkers fight with one another making it a high school environment which is pretty sad. "Management in this organization needs a reality check. When employees within this organization are vocally complaining about the work environment through these reviews, you can be sure this is a sign of poor management. They have a bad culture of throwing their work down the food chain. Managers pass their duties to supervisors such as budgeting, administration gives their scanning and other work to the help desk, and the stock administrator gets housekeepers to do their own inventory. Management keep telling everyone they “Have had some growing pains but things are improving considerably as the right people are hired”, maybe it is time you fired all the wrong people you hired and see if things improve. They don’t value communication with their employees and fail to pass along new information about company policies or procedures that will affect the way staff members perform their jobs.
